UNSC carrier
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
Carrier is a capital warship classification used by the UNSC Navy.
Design
Multiple carrier classes have seen service within the UNSC Navy.[note 1] [1]
Carriers typically range to approximately three kilometers in length and have a beam of 120 meters,[2] placing them among the largest ships used by the UNSC Navy. Carriers have a crew and complement of 2,100 and can carry numerous space, air, and ground vehicles.[2] Befitting their role, their primary asset is a large number of GA-TL1 Longsword interceptors.
Armament
Despite their size, UNSC carriers are armed with only a single Magnetic Accelerator Cannon, though it is no doubt larger and more powerful than those of other ship classifications. Secondary armament is provided by 300 Archer missiles, while tertiary armament includes two fusion rockets.[2] Carriers likely also mount numerous point defense guns and carry several nuclear missiles of various types.

Note
- ^ The Atlas as seen in Halo: Fall of Reach - Boot Camp and the Musashi as seen in Fall of Reach - Invasion look quite different from one another. The former vaguely resembles a Phoenix-class colony ship while the latter looks similar to a destroyer, sans the distinctive "arrowhead" plating. Comparing the two designs, it is possible that only the Atlas' aft is seen and that the two vessels belong to the same class. However, there are enough differences to imply that they belong to different classes.
