Aleria

Aleria is a human colony world with a large mining industry. The world had a large smuggler presence as well, with numerous independent "courier guilds". Arris Le and Haisal Wari were two known smugglers that were affiliated with these guilds. When the Alerian mining union Mols'Desias collapsed, many colonists faced substantial debt and unemployment.[1][2] Bactrian-class freighters were often used on Aleria for interplanetary transport.[3] At some point, a one century drought devastated the planet and its inhabitants had to become smugglers.[4]
Trivia
The colony is likely named after the French town of the same name.
