Halo 4[edit]

"Blur Studio was selected by Microsoft to produce the cinematics for Halo Wars, including the trailers released during the game's development, the Scanned trailer, some cutscenes for Halo 4, and the cutscenes for Halo 2 Anniversary."

"Some cutscenes for Halo 4"... What would that be? Ok for Scanned, but I can't see how they contributed to the game itself. Axis did the Campaign/Spartan Ops CGI cutscenes. Imrane-117 (talk) 21:32, 16 November 2014 (EST)

Is there any source? I don't think they were made by Blur, they look very similar to the cutscenes in Spartan Ops and as far as I can tell, 343i always mentioned Axis Animation when talking about CG cutscenes. I can't find any source other than for the Scanned trailer. And there is no mention of Blur in the Halo 4 credits, there's only Axis. The only "source" I've found so far is the fact that you added this to the page because it was on the cutscene page. Imrane-117 (talk) 23:27, 16 November 2014 (EST)
I myself found the info on other pages and it was mentioned that Blur did "the cutscenes" at one of the conventions during the summer.Sith-venator Wavingstrider Fett helmet.jpg (Commlink) 23:31, 16 November 2014 (EST)
Apparently, Subtank was the one who added this to the cutscene page, but there's no source. I'm not really sure if it was a guess or she forgot the source. I'm skeptical about Blur's involvement, since they're not credited anywhere. About what was said in one of the summer conventions, perhaps it was just said something like "Blur is creating CG cutscenes for H2A, the kind of cutscenes seen in Halo 4", but not necessarily that it was from the same studio. According to how Blur works, they would have mentioned it on their site. Imrane-117 (talk) 23:37, 16 November 2014 (EST)
As they are completely absent from Halo 4's credits, and as the only Halo 4 related item on their website is Scanned, I think it's safe to say that they had no involvement with the actual game. It seems like a misconception was formed somewhere along the way.--Soul reaper (talk) 23:53, 16 November 2014 (EST)
I was reading it up somewhere and yes, I indeed forgot to add in the source. Checking back, I misinterpreted. I guess I was mistaken. Heh. :P — subtank 08:19, 17 November 2014 (EST)
