Gekz is a form of currency among the Covenant races. After the collapse of the Covenant in 2552 the currency became useless to some of the races.[1] When Sav Fel stole the Pious Inquisitor, Avu Med 'Telcam put out a reward of 80,000 gekz for the return of the ship, which the Skirmisher Chol Von accepted.
