I agree, I thought we agreed that we wouldnt make the Apprentice and stuff like that and just keep crewman but these were made by a new comer so he wouldnt have known.--ryanngreenday 20:56, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

If this was agreed on, perhaps you could link to the talk page where such discussion took place. How are new users (yes, like myself) expected to know that a decision was reached? May I point out that Yamanba seems to be exaggerating; it is not unreasonable to assume that Crewman (pay-grade E3 (as equivalent to lance corporal)) is not the lowest navy enlisted rank and would have subordinate ranks. This is exactly why all Ranks not mentioned in the Halo Universe should be erased! New users, like Manticore, are going to think that its OK to add Realworld articles to Halopedia! We need to stop this before it gets out of hand! -- Yamanba 10:27, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

Maybe we should just get rid of ranks under crewman mo offen to there maker.--ryanngreenday 20:53, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

My main motivation for creating subordinate crewman apprentice/recruit ranks was that the crewman article before I edited it referred to "crewman" as a generic term for UNSC personnel, more of a title than an actual rank. As there are characters with this rank I think it's fair to assume it is not a title. If the recruit/apprentice ranks are to be deleted I hope that my clarification of crewman as a rank will remain. Well of corse I neverd inteanded for it to be thought of as a title but no one ever brought it up so its good that yo fixxed that.--ryanngreenday 20:54, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

And this is exactly why you should stop sticking your nose into the rank pages, Yamanba. I mean really! Where does it stop? Shall we start erasing the Bungie employees? Maybe the article on Frankie?
