Greetings Halopedia denizens, first of all, Happy Haloween to everyone! Second, I'd like to lay down a couple new guidelines pertaining to renaming articles and their respective redirects.

  • When renaming an article, please ensure that all redirects redirect to the new title, not the old one. A list of pages that redirect to the article can be found via Special:WhatLinksHere, under the More Actions tab. Linking the redirects to the new article title will significantly reduce the amount of double redirects there are. This does not apply to talk page redirects, as they are unneeded and may be tagged for deletion/deleted.
  • If everyone wouldn't mind checking this page (210 redirects at the moment) every so often and fixing a few redirects, it would be really helpful! If anyone is unsure as to whether a redirect should be deleted or kept, feel free to ask an administrator. Again, any talk page redirects can be tagged for deletion/deleted.

That about sums it up. Feel free to leave any queries/concerns/comments below.--Spartacus TalkContribs 20:31, 31 October 2013 (EDT)

Awesome! Didn't know we had a bot to do that.--Spartacus TalkContribs 22:36, 31 October 2013 (EDT)
