Parg Vol was a Sangheili warrior, terrorist, and known associate of Shipmaster Jul 'Mdama. In February 2558, he led Covenant remnant ground forces during the Requiem campaign.

Biography

Sometime during the Requiem campaign Fireteam Crimson was sent to eliminate him. The first time, while Crimson was engaging his forces in the area he escaped in a Phantom. During the Covenant assault on Galileo Base he was sighted by Marine forces in the area, but escaped shortly before Crimson secured the base. UNSC forces eventually tracked him to a base at a Forerunner structure, sending in Crimson to take him out. Crimson was able to kill him along with all his troops in the area.

Trivia

• Vol is the first Sangheili to be named by characters or mission text in any of the Halo games.
• Vol's name does not include the apostrophe typically found before the second half of Sangheili names; this is likely an oversight, or a detail ignored due to human difficulty in pronouncing the glottal click it signifies.
