Vesta is an artificial intelligence construct who was in service with the United Nations Space Command. She was a shipboard AI of the UNSC Abstract Endurance, but would later defect to the Created on October 27, 2558.[1][2]

In Roman mythology, Vesta is the virgin goddess of the hearth, home, and family. Her Greek equivalent is Hestia, which is also the name of the star system home to Meridian.
