Hi. I wasn't sure why you asked something like that, but I just saw the discussion going on in Noble Six's article here on Halopedia. You ask if you can make a "fanon" version of Noble Six. I don't see why not, but you'll agree it doesn't belong in a Halopedia article as I've come to understand the rules here. I think my earlier response was to just relegate the gender choice to a gameplay feature of Halo: Reach, but not to speak fictionally of a female Noble Six. The page you linked on Bungie's site is one of the oldest pieces of info about Noble Team. They've certainly been fleshed out since, mostly by 343i.
I see the recent discussion is around Noble Six's gender. It had to be decided fictionally because it can't, in reality, be up to interpretation. Those that interacted with him would have seen his stance, build, and the sound of his voice. It was decided the default value of male would be official at 343i/ When we did the Visual Guide (the first one) the data I helped create and verify was to that end. The height, weight and pronoun use in the article was deliberately male-oriented as that's how 343i sees the character. It was vague before because Bungie wanted players to be surprised that they could play the character with whatever gender they wished. But for the sake of the fiction, it can't be an open question. Hope that helps you.
