UNSC Pioneer is a UNSC Halberd-class destroyer.[2]
Service historyEdit
In 2525, the Pioneer was the staging ship from which the Spartan-IIs conducted an operation against the Eridanus Rebels to capture Colonel Robert Watts in the Eridanus system. It was also responsible for picking up the Spartans whenever necessary.[3]

In the Silver Timeline, the UNSC Pioneer (hull classification symbol DD-440)[4] participated in and was destroyed in the Battle of Eridanus II.[5]
TriviaEdit
- Near the end of Chapter Eight in Halo: The Fall of Reach, the Pioneer is erroneously referred to as the London by Halsey. This is fixed immediately in the next chapter.
