A Dovotaa Workshop Reaver and a spike turret launching a barrage of Thrasher missiles.

Thrasher missile is a type of missile employed within the Banished.[1][2]

OverviewEdit

Design detailsEdit

Thrasher missiles typically fulfil an anti-aircraft role.[1][3] Their delivery systems are capable of tracking enemy aircraft, allowing a barrage of missiles to home in on targeted enemies.[4] If Thrasher missiles are fired without guidance, like for suppression purposes, Reavers also fire tracer spikes.[5] In spite of its anti-air role, Thrasher missiles are incredibly powerful; a single missile is capable of destroying natural landscape and even Forerunner structures.[6]

UsageEdit

Thrasher missile pod
Thrasher missile launcher

Production notesEdit

In the Halo Wars 2 E3 trailer Know Your Enemy, the Annihilator missiles fired from Blisterbacks appear to be modelled after the in-game models of the Thrasher missiles.

NotesEdit

  1. ^ a b In Halo Wars 2 gameplay, the Eklon'Dal Workshop Marauder periodically fires a missile at enemies; the projectile reuses the model of the Thrasher missile, though the Halo Encyclopedia (2022 edition) only refers to the delivery system as an "integrated missile launcher".
