S-2 and ReachEdit
How do we know if the forklift in Halo: Reach is the S-2? I didn't see a designation anywhere, and besides, it looks different. It's similar in its general appearance, so the changes could simply be aesthetic, but it hasn't been confirmed that it's the same model. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 12:33, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
- The Forklift in Reach may not be the S-2, but we don't know that it isn't. Although I think we all know what assuming does, it looks similair enough that we should leave it on this page until we know it is different. After all, look what we did to Rocket 'Hog page, and the Reach 'hog looks NOTHING like the one in Halo: CE. I say, innocent until proven guilty. Que Sera, Sera 00:19, September 5, 2010 (UTC)
Mobile Sniping Platform?Edit
While explaining the Forklift's presence in Reach, a friend of mine gave me a crazy but decent idea.
If a second player can stand on top of the Forklift while it is moving, it could be a Mobile Sniping Platform! Or, if you get a player with a Turret on top, it would be a VERY slow Warthog! I know this is silly, but it would give a Forklift a small role.

Splattering?Edit
The forklift is capable of splattering a elite general as seen in bungie's "forklifts never die!" video. this edit was made a while ago, how come it was reverted back to only having the ability to splatter a grunt?

Better ImageEdit
Could someone do a transparent cutout render of the S-2 Traxus Cargo Transporter forklift from Halo: Reach, and maybe also from Halo 3? I can work on it when I have the time to do it, but it would also be great if someone could get on it as well. Xamikaze330 12:16, 10 October 2011 (EDT)Xamikaze330
- UPDATE: Never mind. I have already uploaded them to Halopedia, and posted them in the article. Enjoy. --Xamikaze330 19:44, 3 December 2011 (EST)Xamikaze330
RenameEdit
I say we should rename the article to "Traxus Cargo Transporter". Yes sure they are forklifts but they have do a technical name. And there may be other companies that make forklifts also. Its like how we dont call the Warthog page. The Jeep page xD - CIA391 (talk) 14:06, 9 April 2016 (EDT)
- Plus, the vehicle appears to be modular. There's a related vehicle in the new Warzone map that has the same forklift front, but instead of the lift apparatus, there's a regular back with wheels and hauls a trailer around like the Traxus electric carts from Halo 3/ODST/Reach. - I think the current title was picked for the sake of inclusiveness. For example, I'm pretty sure we don't know if the forklift in Halo 4 was manufactured by Traxus, but it can be included under the current title because it includes all forklifts. But maybe we could keep this page as an umbrella article for all forklifts and make another one for the Traxus Cargo Transporter line. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 11:56, 10 April 2016 (EDT)
- Oh the Halo 4 one is just the Halo 5 one with a cage on it. I feel its really safe to assume its made by Traxus. Plus it goes with Scalemasters idea that the H5 version is modular. - CIA391 (talk) 18:50, 10 April 2016 (EDT)
- I'll note that the SL series is different from the S-line of forklifts. --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 18:53, 10 April 2016 (EDT)
