Spartan-IV trainingEdit
Ionescu entered the SPARTAN-IV program as a recruit, where they were put through training at the Avery J. Johnson Academy of Military Science. Ionescu arrived alongside Spartans Eusebio, Leung, Page and one other recruit. They were later seen socializing at the academy with Spartans Page and Denning before a live-fire exercise. During the exercise Ionescu competed alongside Spartan Commander Laurette Agryna, Spartan Page, and one other spartan recruit.[1]

Spartan Ionescu wore "cadet yellow" standard issue Mark VII MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor with a GEN3 Soldier-class helmet.[1]
