Okay, so I have a sudden realization here. Dr. Halsey had suspicions about Admiral P being up to something, but she never fully knew about the Spartan III's untill Ghosts of Onyx. Then if you go back to Halo: Reach Jun, Carter, Kat, Emile, and Noble 6 were Spartan III'S while Jorge was a Spartan II. Dr. Halsey recognized Jorge but did not know who the others were, nor could she have.

Now if we think of Dr. Halseys character, she is a know it all, and an scientist. She knew every Spartan II like the back of her hand, some she knew with their helmets on, just by their posture alone. She actually boasts about this in Halo: First Strike.

So my question is this. How does Dr. Halsey, who meets Noble Team, not question who accompanies Jorge? She clearly knows every Spartan II, but does not freak out when she meets the team. I have not looked up any information that clears it up, maybe I missed something. So could someone Shine some light on this topic

(This was copied from my Halo.wikia forum, I got some answers from there, but I wanted to see if anyone here could come up with a better answer, I base my question on the fact that Dr. Halsey Knows every spartan II like the back of her hand and who she is as a character( A know-it-all).)

In Halsey's Journal, she finds out about what appear in all accounts to be Spartans but knows they're not from her project and she surmises that someone has either had a side project going or has continued on her work without her knowledge/input. Dr. Halsey and Kalmiya had spent the last couple of years looking into classified files about suspicious activity which she believed to involve the creation of new Spartans. She was aware of the shipment of chemical precursors to Hopeful, as well as Admiral Jeromi's involvement in whatever was going on. When she finally met NOBLE Team, she assumed they were either from a new class of SPARTAN-IIs or members of something called Project JAVELIN. Anyway, she wouldn't know they were SPARTAN-IIIs until her discovery of Ackerson's files in CASTLE Base, followed by encountering more in the flesh on Onyx. --Our vengeance is at hand.
