OverviewEdit

Design detailsEdit

Main article: ARC-920 railgun

The Arclight is a modified railgun variant that fires armor-piercing, high-explosive (APHE) projectiles, able to penetrate through multiple targets at once. Additionally, the weapon has a modified firing mechanism which allows it to hold its charge indefinitely, rather than automatically discharging once the charging cycle has completed.[6] Design-wise, it retains the standard Railgun's chassis but recolors it white, with olive green and red stripes, along with an olive green falcon emblem in the middle part of the weapon on each side.[8]

UsageEdit

In late 2558, Spartan-IVs serving aboard the UNSC Infinity trained with the Arclight in War Games simulations.[8]
