The Alabaster system was a star system in the Outer Colonies, under the control of the UEG. It is at the confluence of several slipspace routes. The system contains what appears to be an emission nebula, which is close enough to the planet Concord to be visible to the naked eye in the northern hemisphere, dominating a large portion of the sky and giving off a distinct orange glow.
