Against Drones

Automatic weapons are the best.

Against Grunts

Anything. Except Grenades.

Against Hunters

Try to hit the exposed area in the Hunter's back, joints, or neck. This will reasult in more damage, and will make the firefight be less dangerous. Also, snipe from afar and shoot when the Hunter is charging its cannon. This can stun the creature and prevent it from shooting. This could save your life.

Legendary In General

Be Careful. Don't rush straight into battle. Take time. The longer it takes to line up a head-shot means the longer you will live.
