This Unknown Covenant Explosive is a Covenant explosive device that was in use during the Battle of Ariel in 2552.[1] The grenade has a similar appearance to a Covenant antimatter charge, and may be a miniaturized form of the explosive.
The spikes present on the explosive's exterior may be to make the action of moving or picking up the grenade difficult.
