Template:Ratings A chocolate brownie, also known simply as a brownie, is a small, rich, chocolate baked cake-slice, named after its brown colour.
Brownies may contain nuts, particularly walnuts and sometimes almonds. Brownies often have an icing; usually chocolate, but popular flavours include either vanilla or mint extract.
Brownies are consumed by humans, and were served for dessert on the first day of Spartan-II boot camp.[1]
