Critchley was a Colonial Militia Recruit. He was assigned to 2nd Platoon during the Battle of Harvest, near Gladsheim [1]. He was the leader of his squad and sharpshooter of 2nd Platoon. He officially joined the UNSC Marine Corps after the battle of Harvest.
