These devices uses a series of physical and chamical changes to expand upon a single plasma battery to multiply its amount, which is transferred and stored in these covenant barrels that are attached to the base. These barrels have been seen unattached to these generating bases which are probably transported and used to fuel covenant vehicles. These generators can be found on Burial Mounds or Metropolis near the marine command post. The armor plating to these devices prevent tampering or destruction on campaign. The fuel that the device genrates into the detachable and replacable tops might be plasma based which could also be used to fuel the weapons systems on covenant vehicles.
