Return is believed to be the ninth and final campaign mission of Halo 3 and is the last level in the Halo Trilogy.
It takes place in an unidentified Halo ring.
Template:Conjecturalization It may be so named because of the return of the Forerunners to the galaxy, although this is speculative.
Another highly speculative theory could be that, according to a reclaimer theory and a line from 343 Guilty Spark, "Why would you hesitate to do what you have already done?', the Master Chief travels back in time and is the one to first activate Halo. Upon completing it on the Normal, Heroic, or Legendary difficulties, the player will earn the "Return" achievement and 50 Gamerpoints.
