Help you out?
Not sure if you saw this, it's a few section up, but:
- "If you need help programming, just ask me. I'm usually free, and i know HTML and some other types of coding. I'm not as good as RR at creating this stuff, but i can hold my own with the big boys. Just tell me what you need and i can test it on the Combine OverWiki (half-life) to make sure it works (as i can't edit MediaWiki here)."
Since you seem to be overworked here, and i'm extremely underworked (my other wikis are less crazy), feel free to call on me at any time. My real life is even fairly boring right now, just finishing up with finals. I can help out with MediaWiki coding or templates or even just average everyday editing. Ask just, and i'll be there to back you up.

Admins
Since we need admins I had some ideas for candidates: Phil.e, Manticore, James-001, Caboose, Ryangreenday, and Donut. I'm running them by you before I make a fourm post about it so I don't get their hopes up. Also Grevious has gone inactive leaving the FoH leaderless in an election and several high profile slots in other usergroups open. Do you have any suggestions as to what should happen? Final thing, are you a fan of the Cleveland Cavs at all?--File:GRAW.pngMCPO Spartan 1138 04:16, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
- Those users will make good candidates for adminship in the future, but not at the moment. I'm granting 2 RfAs, for now, and at the moment there are two that are very close to passing. But we will keep them in mind in the future, I'm still designing how RfA's will be handled, Halopedia was never big enough to deal with them before. As for the usergroups, they are required to have charters dealing with these things. They are supposed to be self-sustaining, so its up to their users to handle elections. As for the Cavs, I follow American Football and a little Baseball, but not a big fan of Basketball. sorry. --ED(talk)(gaming) 04:24, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
- ED, the admin page doesn't have specifics regarding admin requirements, but this RfA has been created for a user with less than 50 mainspace edits. Could you consider putting some stricter requirements on the Admin page, otherwise we're gonna be swamped with RfA's from newbies. -- Manticore Talk | CSV 04:23, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
- Manticore does bring up a good point.--File:GRAW.pngMCPO Spartan 1138 04:24, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
- Hah yes, I am actually working on an RfA procedure page right now, but I keep getting distracted talking to people! --ED(talk)(gaming) 04:25, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
Re: RFA.
I understand. I wasn't really a whole lot serious, just throwing it out there.--Gerzam File:Gerzam.jpg 11:44, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

wtf
hey my friend Team Hazard has been banned and he wants to know how long he's banned for. > Halo 2 Master 11:51 am 4th june 2007
- His block was for one week, it expires on Wednesday, June 6. --ED(talk)(gaming) 16:31, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
ok i'll tell him. Halo 2 Master
- Speaking of Team Hazard, I noticed he proclaimed himself leader of the Forerunners of Halopedia. I also noticed that he did the same with the CoH. I know he got a week ban for it too. I am just bringing this to your attention. In a related note, could I get rollback privilages?--File:GRAW.pngMCPO Spartan 1138 00:55, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Hey there
Dear ED,
Can we discuss a non-RFA topic about Halopedia that I'd really like to see implemented? #halopedia? ;-) That is, when you get on. ;-)
Cheers,

My Assigned Tasks
The third one, about the bots, that's a specific Wikia position (ie. Oversight, Sysop). Only users with botcheck (i think that's the correct name) can make bots and assign them to fo certain jobs. You'll have to ask the Wikia Staff, or if you wish, i'll request my user group be switched to botchecker and i'll work on it for you. It may take some time to get them to switch my status (if you supported me it would probably be quicker), so i'll put my request in now. Inform me asap if you want to cancel my request, sir.

- Ahh, ok thanks. Where would I go to do that? --ED(talk)(gaming) 01:52, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
- Hehe. I have an account, RelentlessBot, that has Bot status. However, a corrupted .exe file prevents my bot from working. ;-) Cheers, RelentlessRecusant TALK • WORK • SPEAK 01:53, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
- Hah hah. thats a bummer. In case you didn't see what I said, we were trying to program a bot for Halopedia, and Donut needs to become a botchecker. --ED(talk)(gaming) 01:55, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
- Hmm...well, you don't need Wikia Staff to botcheck you, just Central Wikia Administrator. One's needed, but three did it for me. (they had a contest to see who could push "SAVE PAGE" the fastest and confirm me before the others ;D no life ;D) However, even if Donut is confirmed, he nor I will be able to run a bot until corrupted file is fixed by lazy Technical Team (they're actually 95% Polish...;D) Cheers, RelentlessRecusant TALK • WORK • SPEAK 01:57, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

You may not have to go anywhere. I've left a message with the Staff member that made me the Bureaucrat of Half-Life, i should the permissions soon. However, she may ask you if you agree, but she'll probably come here and speak with you personally, i gave her your name too.

era is terrah
Dear ED,
Um...only to a major extent, not a complete extent. I'd like to acknowledge the work of GPT here, and also the Wikians Dantman, Silent Penguin, and several others, for making it a success. I think I have 'em all handled, and you could probably do a bit more good investigating Category:Articles For Deletion or whatever it's called. However, I might like to partition the workload with you tommorrow. That might be nice. ;-)
Thanks for the offah!
Cheers,

An idea I thought of
Is there a way to designate out specific duties, such as the power to delete articals and pictures, to non-admins? If it is possible it would relieve some pressure of you so you can handle things better in other areas. Also I was wondering if I could get rollback privilages?--File:GRAW.pngMCPO Spartan 1138 17:04, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
