Hello. I am ED.

I am an Admin here at Halopedia. I joined on October 10, 2005 as "Ed", but during the transfer of domains, I had to change to "ED". I am a fanatic for writing, which is why I am here. Next fall, I hope to enroll in college to study Internet Journalism.

A perspective for you: When I joined Halopedia, we had roughly 275 articles and about 100 user accounts. Dragonclaws was the only active community member then that is still active today. Exactly one year after I joined, our article counter hit 1,000. I also think it's safe to say that I have either created or overhauled most of the articles here at Halopedia.

Action Figures

One of my interests (I'd hardly call it a hobby) is Action Figures. I have a few from several universes, including Halo. I maintain a small collection of Halo Action Figures, but I'm not all gung-ho about spending hard earned work money on what amount to 15$ paperweights. Anyways, as of now, my Halo action Figure collection consists of:

Halo 2 Master Chief v.2 (Series 2) Serial Number: 336 4 SS01

Halo 2 Ranger Elite (Series 4) Serial Number: 154 5 SS01

Halo 2 Red Spartan-Blue Variant (Series 4) Serial Number: 161 5 SS01

Halo 2 Holographic Prophet of Regret (Exclusive) Serial Number: 175 6 SS01

My Thoughts on Halopedia

Now is an exciting time for Halo fans. We are finally beginning to learn so many things that have been a mystery in the series from the start. With three more books, three more games and a full length motion picture planned for the future, I suspect Halopedia will become nothing short of HUGE.

I think our community is perfect as it is right now. We have a hundred or so active users, most of whom visit Halopedia from time to time, and so we do not suffer the problems of larger wikis, such as Memory-Alpha and Wikipedia. There are few edit wars, vandalism is relatively rare, and Halopedia, I think, embodies what the wiki is supposed to be: constructive, interesting, and enjoyable.
