OverviewEdit
Design detailsEdit
- Main article: M57 Pilum
Ad Victoriam is an improved M57 that fires three laser-guided M29 50x130mm rockets in a "V" formation, all equipped with an airburst proximity fuse. The operator can use smart scope in order to guide the missiles with the reticle, and doing so will fire the missiles in a cluster rather than a "V" formation.[4]
Outwardly, the Ad Victoriam retains the standard M57 Pilum's chassis and mostly keeps its original paintjob but adds olive green and red stripes, along with a olive green falcon emblem in the middle part of the weapon on each side. The UNSC logos have also been moved closer to the front of the weapon.[5]
In-game informationEdit
Halo 5: GuardiansEdit
- Main article: Rocket Launcher (gameplay) § Halo 5: Guardians
Ad Victoriam is a Rare energy Power Weapon REQ worth 100 when sold. The M57 Pilum is featured as a usable weapon called the "Rocket Launcher", in Halo 5: Guardians. It is a power weapon, which fires slow-moving rockets that deal an incredible amount of damage upon detonation, with a wide area of effect. The Rocket Launcher is one of the most powerful weapons in the game, and to compensate, it has a small magazine size, slow reload speed and ammo is generally very rare.
