January 8
- Spartan Horvath attempt to destroy one of the Kywasky Workshop Gorespike cannons, but encounters a banter between 2 Banished Sangheili.
January 20
- Spartans Griffin and Kovan learn that the Banished will turn to infighting and make a plan to assassinate War Chief Escharum.
January 23
- Fireteam Taurus asks Spartan Vettel to stay behind at the remnants of the UNSC Mortal Reverie as they begin preparations for Escharum's assassination.
January 30
- The assassination attempt on Escharum backfires, and he orders Tremonius and his Banished forces to assault the Mortal Reverie. Spartan Griffin sends an SOS to the squad and warns of an invading Banished force.
January 31
- Spartan Stone learns that the Banished is gathering a massive invasion force at Riven Gate, heading for the Mortal Reverie. Spartans Makovich and Vettel prepare the UNSC remnants to defend the Mortal Reverie.
February
February 2
- The Mortal Reverie falls to the Banished forces led by Tremonius. Outpost Tremonius is named after this Banished victory by Escharum's recommendation.
March
March 3
- The surviving Spartans from the Mortal Reverie enact the Rubicon Protocol, a contingency plan to halt the advancing Banished forces on Installation 07 by any means necessary.
March 4
- Horvath founds a mutilated and barely alive Kate Stalling in a cave near a Banished excavation site. After informs him about the Conspectus network and the names of her captors, Stalling kills herself with Horvath's M6 pistol. Horvath then records a map to a Conspectus network hub drawn by Stalling and buries her body near a body of water, vowing to make Stalling's sacrifice not be in vain.

April 18
- Escharum forces combat medic Lucas Browning to open the Cylix unearthed by Tremonius containing The Harbinger.
Circa April 20
- The boat crew and Spartan Bonita Stone met. After noticing the increased air traffic from Escharum's personal fleet towards the UNSC Mortal Reverie, now renamed Outpost Tremonius, they decide to go to the Banished outpost and investigate their activity in the area.
April 22
- The boat crew and Spartan Stone arrive to the Outpost Tremonius's area.
April 23
- Escharum transfers half of the troops stationed at Outpost Tremonius to Site Novem to support the excavation of the Conservatory.
- Spartan Stone learns that the Banished are transporting Forerunner technology to a site called the Conservatory from scouting Outpost Tremonius.
- Spartan Kovan snuck into Outpost Tremonius and meets Browning. Although she can't rescue him, Kovan gives Browning several recording transmitters, instructing him to learn whatever he could about the Harbinger or the Banished, and lefts a tracking beacon in Browning's neck.
- Spartan Vettel ambush a Banished patrol and interrogate the patrol's officer about the whereabouts of other UNSC survivors.
April 24
- Spartans Makovich and Sorel learn that Escharum and the Harbinger are planning on capturing 117649 Despondent Pyre, monitor of Installation 07.
- Lucas Browning is transported to Chak 'Lok's Tower.
April 26
- After infiltrating Outpost Tremonius, Spartan Stone discovers the Weapon's signal underneath the surface of Installation 07 and that the Banished have a data node with Installation 07's location. Stone managed to stole it, but she's ambushed and killed by Jega 'Rdomnai and Gorian. Before passing away, Stone manages to copy the data from the node thanks to her personal AI Ouco and then corrupts the node's data before the Banished steals her back.[1]
- Browning is transported to the House of Reckoning, being forced to talk and listen to the Harbinger.
April 27
- TJ Murphy confronts Kovan about Stone's whereabout and why Kovan refused to divulge any information about it. After Kovan tells them about the Forerunner tech below Outpost Tremonius and Browning's survival, the boat crew decides to infiltrate the outpost and track down Stone.
- The Boat crew find Stone's body and recover her data with Zeta Halo's current location. However, with Banished forces closing in, the crew reluctantly left Stone's body behind. Hours later, they are found by 091 Adjutant Veridity who, after informs them about Cortana's death, recruits them to release 117649 Despondent Pyre.[2]
April 29
- Spartan Vettel learns that Spartan Griffin is locked away inside Chak 'Lok's Tower and attempts a daring rescue but fails.

May 3
- On route to the Conservatory, the boat crew links up with Spartan Tomas Horvath.
May 7
- After a talk with the Harbinger, Browning tries to describe it to Spartan Griffin, but he's unable to do so. Griffin manages to comfort Browning, telling him to keep it to himself for now, and they would endure captivity together.
May 9
- The boat crew and Horvath manage to reach the Conservatory and release 117649 Despondent Pyre and her trapped submonitors. Although she doesn't want to help them, when she's informed about the Harbinger's release, Despondent Pyre gives them a data key that, if its inserted into a beacon tower's central plinth, will transmit the ring's location into human-occupied space. However, Pyre orders her submonitors to remain with her, leaving Horvath and the boat crew to travel to the beacon tower by themselves.
May 14
- The boat crew, with TJ Murphy' sacrifice, successfully transmit Zeta Halo's location into human space. Tomas Horvath kills Gorian but both are teleported away after falling into a translocation pad; after shoving Gorian's body, Horvath falls into a coma. The rest of the boat crew are saved and teleported away by Adjutant Veridity.
May 15
- Spartans Makovich and Sorel enter the Conservatory and follow the Banished inside but are ambushed and killed by the Hand of Atriox, composed of Jega 'Rdomnai, Hyperius, and Tovarus.
- After several talks with the Harbinger over the last few weeks, Lucas Browning ends up in a hysterical state, only being able to speak his service number. The Harbinger compares the similarities between her species and the Banished, and how the Forerunners were unfair with the Xalanyn, unlike humanity, despise both species having been enemies to the Forerunners. The Harbinger then vows her species will return.
May 16
- After spending one day in coma, Spartan Horvath awakens.
May 18
- After four days treating their wounds and repairing equipment, the boat crew decides their next course of action will be rescuing Lucas Browning from Chak 'Lok's Tower.
May 25
- Spartan Horvath sends a final transmission to the UNSC survivors, pleading for John-117 to return and turn the tide against the Banished.
May 28
- John-117 is recovered from the remnants of the battle between the UNSC Infinity and the Banished by Echo 216 and its pilot.
- Escharum discovers that John-117 has returned thanks to the latter's participation in destroying the Ghost of Gbraakon.
- John-117 recovers the Weapon underneath the surface of Installation 07 and defeats Tremonius.
- John-117 rescues the captured Marines, takes down various high-value targets, assists the survivors in capturing various Forward Operating Bases or FOBs, and shuts down various Banished facilities.
- John-117 defeats Chak 'Lok inside his Tower and learns of a Banished mining operation into the Conservatory thanks to Spartan Griffin, who dies of his torture.
- The Weapon helps John-117 defeat Bassus at the Excavation Site and shut down the drill, preventing entry into the Conservatory.
- The Weapon learns of a mysterious entity worse than the Flood recovered from a past exchange between Cortana and 117649 Despondent Pyre before the arrival of the UNSC Infinity.
- John-117 meets the Harbinger, whose plans are to free the Endless from the Cylixes.
- John-117 and the Weapon learn that the Harbinger and the Banished plan to repair Installation 07 through Forerunner Spires.
- Echo 216 gets shot down by 3 Banished AA cannons en route to the Command Spire.[3]
- John-117 disables the AA cannons and defeats Hyperius and Tovarus.
- The Harbinger springs a trap on the Weapon while extracting the data needed to enter the Command Spire.
- While exploring the Command Spire, more of Cortana's past actions are revealed, including her role in the destruction of Laconia Station at the hands of the AI Leonidas.
- John-117 shuts down all of the Spires, but the Pilot is captured by Jega 'Rdomnai.
- En route to the Pilot's rescue, the Weapon discovers that Cortana destroyed Doisac because Atriox refused to join the Created.
- John-117 survives the House of Reckoning, defeats the remaining Banished leaders, and rescues the Pilot.
- John-117 and the Weapon discover the true purpose of the Silent Auditorium, the site of Cortana's sacrifice, and defeat the Harbinger.
- John-117 and the Weapon escape the collapsing chamber through a translocation portal
May 31
- Echo 216 picks up John-117 and the Weapon as they appear in another location within Installation 07 after being missing for three days. The pilot is revealed to be Fernando Esparza, a civilian engineer. Atriox discovers the Endless in their Cylixes.

- John-117 was accidentally declared KIA on this date by ONI Section II Press Secretary Lieutenant Penelope Boren,[4] who was meant to say "2558" instead of "2560".[5]
Unknown
- The Banished attack the blood-moon of Suban, resulting in a battle against the Swords of Sanghelios and their UNSC allies at some point in early 2560.
- Following the death of the Harbinger, Adjutant Revendicate, one of Zeta Halo's sub-monitors, contacts Invariant Bias, custodian of the Absolute Record and manages to provide an up-to-date record of the state of the Milky Way. The two ancillas then agree that John-117 may be all that would save the galaxy from the Xalanyn threat.[6][7]
