The Fifth Winter participated in naval engagements throughout the Human-Covenant War.[1][2]

The ship was simulated in Outpost Discovery events, in which attendees would simulate a routine personnel transfer between the Fifth Winter and groundside rendezvous installation Station-Bravo-Lima.[1][2]
