Armor coatings (Halo Infinite)

Armor coatings, also known as armor skins, are an element of player customization in Halo Infinite. They are a seven layer system that change the materials and coloration of a player's armor permutation.

Trivia

• The Karaba Sirocco's color scheme is a reference to the Moble Suit Gundam series and possibly to the MSK-008 Dijeh mobile suit from the 1985 anime Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, due to the usage of the light pale cyan color scheme instead of a pure white or grey. The name references organization Karaba and character Paptimus Scirocco also from 1985 anime Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. It is possible the references to Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam are due to Halo Infinite's campaign taking place on the Zeta Halo ring.
