Tovarus was a Jiralhanae Spartan Killer serving the Banished, and a brother to fellow warrior Hyperius.[2] During the Installation 07 conflict in 2560, he and his brother were killed by Spartan-II John-117.[1]
Biography
Hunting the Master Chief

In 2560, Tovarus participated in the Installation 07 conflict, during which he and Hyperius killed many Spartans, including Theodore Sorel. Later, they were sent by Escharum to hunt down the Spartan-II John-117. He and Hyperius engaged the Spartan after he had destroyed three Gorespike cannons, with Tovarus raining down fire on him with his Scrap Cannon and Hyperius mounted on his custom Chopper. They were unsuccessful in killing John-117, and both brothers died at the Spartan's hands.[1]
Personality and traits
Proud and boastful, Tovarus seemingly did not think highly of his brother, Hyperius. He apparently considered him to be a coward. Tovarus had reddish-blond hair and amber-colored eyes.[1]
Equipment
Tovarus wore ornate black and red power armor equipped with energy shielding. He also seemed to favor wielding a Scrap Cannon in combat.[1]
