Skimmers are a species of small flying creatures.

Overview

Anatomy and physiology

Skimmers have two arms, with three fingers on each. They also have four legs, with a large toe, and a smaller one higher up the leg. They are quite small, with a disproportionally large head. They make use of thruster "wings" which they use to maneuver. They wear red armour on their torso, head and "wings". Upon death, they explode in purple flame.
