In Halo: Combat Evolved(please note that it works only on the Xbox version), if you create a new profile (or edit an existing one) and call it ".fortune" (dot located with Shift on), a random saying will appear on the screen. List of sayings:
- All your hard work will pay off.
- Everything lies in silence.
- If anything can go wrong, it will at the worst possible moment. (The very basic and first of "Murphy's Laws"!)
- Nature always sides with the hidden flaw. (Also a Murphy's Law.)
- Never wear your best pants when fighting for freedom.
- Rest is good, but idleness is its brother.
- Smile when you're ready.
- You cannot fall off the floor. (Also a Murphy's Law.)
- Your luck is about to change.
- I like beans.
