Creating pages
First of all, I like your enthusiasm to help out. However, when you create a new article, such as these two, try to add a little more content to it, as some may think the articles are fanon when there's only an infobox. For more information, please see the Manual of Style and the Layout Guide. Thank you and welcome to Halopedia!--Spartacus Talk • Contribs 11:51, 22 July 2015 (EDT)
Citing sources
While we appreciate your contributions, please cite your sources while editing pages. Not everyone has access to, or knowledge of, the pieces of media that you're pulling the new information from, and Halopedia relies on on-point references to remain a reliable source of Halo information. Here's a how-to guide on sources. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 00:35, 10 December 2015 (EST)
Thanks. I just tried to cite the dossier cards included with the Limited Edition for Tanaka's page but when I did I apparently did it wrong and it screwed up the formatting pretty bad so I just undid it.
- The formatting got screwed up because you forgot the closing ref tags:
</ref>
from after each citation.--Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 01:23, 10 December 2015 (EST)
Again, please try to learn to cite your sources properly as this would save a lot of trouble for other editors. The guide is linked above and you can use the Sandbox if you need to practice. At first it can be helpful to just copy existing citations to get the format right. It's not too difficult once you get the hang of it. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 02:34, 4 January 2016 (EST)
Page blanking
Could you please explain why you blanked those articles about fish? I'm assuming good faith but I would still like to know your reason for doing that since you really didn't provide one in the edit summary.--Spartacus Talk • Contribs 13:21, 30 December 2015 (EST)
I moved everything to one page: http://www.halopedia.org/Fish_(Africa). I couldn't figure out how to delete those previous pages and how to rename this that one from Fish (Africa) to just Fish. —This unsigned comment was made by Japeth555 (talk • contribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

- I do really appreciate your eagerness to help out. I was just expressing exasperation at what I saw as another change we'd have to revert due to it being pointless, an unsourced claim, and written in out-of-universe language. We do need a ton of help and if you're looking to see where you can contribute, then start here: https://www.halopedia.org/Category:Articles_with_incomplete_sections or here: https://www.halopedia.org/Special:WantedPages Thanks!TheEld (talk) 16:47, 15 September 2017 (EDT)TheEld
All right thanks, to be fair those articles are definitely more up my street. --The Ultimate Pie (talk) 01:33, 16 September 2017 (EDT)
Josh Holmes is a smart man
Joke title haha,
but regarding our discussion of Josh Holmes claims vs Halo 4: Essential Visual guide claims, the image you provided https://imgur.com/a/EtrvBM doesn't work. Can you provide a working image? ThanksEditorguy (talk) 18:49, 16 July 2018 (EDT)
Multiple edits on John-117
Appreciate if you could reduce in making multiple edits to any article you find here on this wiki. What you can do is work on a draft on your own subpage (like CIA391) and then import the changes in one giant edit. — subtank 10:21, 8 August 2018 (EDT)
Image categories
Hey, I've noticed you uploading a fair few images over the past few weeks for use in articles. Would it be possible to try and add image categories and licensing information for images you upload (can be found in the drop-down menu at the bottom of the upload form). This just helps us keep on top of the ongoing image categorisation and cleanup work by not having unlicensed/ categorised images to deal with. Thanks a lot! I had no idea that was a thing but I'll try now :)TheEld (talk) 12:22, 2 January 2019 (EST)TheEld
