The DSC-class support ship, also simply referred to as the agricultural support ship, is a type of support vessel that was used by the Covenant, and attached to their wandering fleets.

Specifications

These vessels are much smaller than a Covenant capital ship, and are not designed for combat. Rather, they are designed to provide fresh food for Covenant soldiers. They contain large hunting preserves holding many types of animals, to be hunted, killed, and fed to the personnel within the fleet. They also contain plants, though it is unknown whether they are used for food or not.

They are primarily crewed by Huragok and Unggoy, with little to no Sangheili on board. They are occasionally commanded by a single Minor Prophet.

Strangely, the "S", or Salvation, in the suport ship's three-letter classification code "DSC" indicates that the ship is a dedicated warship equipped with energy projectors.
