I'm thinking this is a mondegreen. "Guptising" just doesn't sound like a name. Could it be something like Gus Tsetsang? --Dragonclaws(talk) 16:37, 19 March 2013 (EDT)
Especially when you consider the context. Sarah-John is reassuring Rani about her instincts because of all this stuff Rani figured out about people. It's Mr. this and Mrs. that until we get to "Guptising". It sounds like Nancy Drew, like this is a list of things a schoolgirl figured out. First, it's teachers or neighborhood adults, people given respectful titles, and then we get someone who doesn't receive a title, and his secret had to do with his parent. That makes it sound like a fellow student, and it's pretty uncommon to refer to a fellow student by their last name alone. It's probably Gus something, and I'm thinking a foreign name you wouldn't typically associate with a Southern U.S. context because ILB was trying to make everything multicultural. --Dragonclaws(talk) 16:47, 19 March 2013 (EDT)
- Didn't we once have transcripts of ILB we could check? What happened to those?--The All-knowing Sith'ari (talk) 18:57, 19 March 2013 (EDT)
- We've got Axon Clips Chapter 1 and up the list. It doesn't matter, though, as we transcribed it. It's not from 42 Entertainment. --Dragonclaws(talk) 20:13, 19 March 2013 (EDT)
- It sounds to me like Gupta Singh, a fairly common Indian name. -- Qura 'Morhek The Autocrat of Morheka 07:04, 20 March 2013 (EDT)
