Avoid making multiple edits
Preview is your friend. :) — subtank 17:58, 17 May 2011 (EDT)
- Thanks for the tip! :) I'll definitely keep that in mind. :) Xamikaze330
Wouldn't you?...
Wouldn't you rather edit on a nicer Stargate Wiki where they would appreciate your work? 150.203.222.57 04:10, 18 August 2011 (EDT)
- I most certainly would be on that, but as it so happens, must of my work has already been done on stargate.wikia.com [1], and even then, this Stargate Wiki you posted, while it is much nicer, it is not like Halopedia--I don't know how to begin uploading new images to this, not to mention some of the pages here are lacking information. But, when I feel I should help this one out, then maybe I will. Xamikaze330 12:30, 18 August 2011 (EDT)Xamikaze330
- Wouldn't you want to be part of this, its pretty obvious that my wiki is going to eclipse the one on wikia soon enough. The bureaucrat on the wikia one doesn't care in the slightest about your efforts to help out and is quite happy to ignore everyone. 150.203.222.57 01:21, 26 August 2011 (EDT)
- And so I'm beginning to notice that. I am strongly considering becoming a part of the better Stargate Wiki (stargate-wiki.org). Though some users say my images are a welcome addition, others seem to not really appreciate what I'm doing, all the great images I've been contributing. Things are going to have to change soon. And yes, you are right--Halopedia (halopedian.com) has already easily eclipsed Halo Nation wiki, though I still put some effort into Halo Nation, simply because others have submitted images that are clearly done by myself, but has been changed--I do not like that! Still, the better Stargate Wiki needs the addition of more information, and not just nicer images like mine. --Xamikaze330

(only read the first post but,) What? This sounds like some kind of "employee stealing" attempt. No need to convince backstabbing, it's just a game, lol. Written with two hours of sleep. And don't forget: Vegerot goes RAWR! File:Icon-Vegito2.gif Vegerot (talk) 18:58, 4 October 2011 (EDT)
When uploading images...
... make sure to add a {{delete}} tag on the old files. We wouldn't want old and unused files flocking the server and slowing the wiki's performance. :) — subtank 15:16, 26 August 2011 (EDT)
- Okay. Sorry, I forgot to do that. I'll try to remember next time. Btw, what was wrong with the old file I submitted of H3-M808B-ScorpionMBT-Thumb800x494.png? Aside from the fact that I did upload a bigger image sized 1024x633, was it just because the file name was too long? --Xamikaze330
- Well, partly yes on the filename being too long. Also the fact that the filename is misleading (as you stated, it's no longer 800px). I've already reuploaded the file as File:H3-M808ScorpionMBT.png. — subtank 15:30, 26 August 2011 (EDT)
- Yes, I can see that. Thanks for letting me know. Next time could you please do the courtesy of attaching the new uploaded image to the articles it is supposed to be attached to, like the old ones? That would be much appreciated. --Xamikaze330

- Don't take this the wrong way, but while do believe you normally do, I might point out that this time you forgot to do so. It's a common enough mistake, we all do it. But for now don't worry about it this time. I took care of it. So, Live long and prosper \V/. --Xamikaze330
- Are you referring to the addition you made on M808B article? If so, that edit is wrong as the H3 Scorpion is the M808 and not the M808B. Hence why I didn't bother fixing that image... and also the fact that the article is getting a major reconstruction sometime today/tomorrow. :P — subtank 00:52, 27 August 2011 (EDT)
- Oh. My bad. Good to hear though. But, thing is, they all technically look the same, well almost, I guess. Very small changes overall, one would be a little hard-pressed to really be able to tell them apart at a glance. But, I will not contest this. If there is a difference between the two, then so be it. FYI, fun fact: favorite real-world tank is the M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tank. --Xamikaze330

Did you sign up for an account on my stargate wiki? I only ask because the vandals have impersonated poeple before. 150.203.223.123 20:20, 29 September 2011 (EDT)
Yes, yes, I most certainly did. On my honor as a Christian, I am not a vandal. No one has been able to hack any of my accounts before, and with God on my side, that never will happen. --Xamikaze330
I couldn't help but notice that your still editing on Stargate Wikia? Your not gonna edit/upload the same things on both wikis are you? I intend my wiki to be a better source and if they have the same stuff, then thats not good. 150.203.223.123 21:03, 29 September 2011 (EDT)
Well, truth be told, I have been editing both on Halopedia and on Halo Nation, so I can't really make any promises. But, as a consolation, large quantities of data often is the key, not just the images. (Which means I may have to start buying Stargate reference books. FYI, I may also have to start borrowing and modifying data & images from the Stargate Wikia to get things started, and not forgetting GateWorld data.)That's my theory on how Halopedia (halopedian.com) become more popular than Halo Nation, also due in part to other users not being serious enough on Halo Nation, which is why Halopedia was created, to weed out the people who aren't serious, and to keep those who are. To me, stargate.wikia.com is like that. Some people just aren't serious enough about all this Stargate stuff. l Besides, Halo is at the top of my top ten favorites right now, and I don't expect that to change. In other words, I expect to be working on Halopedia more often than either Stargate Wikis. And keep in mind I may want to become an administrator at some point, just to keep things in line, and other such things like that. --Xamikaze330
What do you need help with?
Yo, I'm about to go on Halo for a screenshot extravaganza. So I was wondering if you could give me a list of EVERYTHING you need, so I can get that all done. Thanks! Vegerot goes RAWR! File:Icon-Vegito2.gif Vegerot (talk) 01:41, 16 October 2011 (EDT)!!

- (Please check all other miscellaneous weapons, vehicles and character pages, because I can't remember them all off the top of my head.)
Recommended Specifications for Great Screenshots:
- Lighting has to be just right, not too dark and not too bright.
- Must have little or no shadows to obscure essential details.
- Background must be the right color in order to make the object, whether it be a weapon, vehicle, or character, to be able to stand out clearly with no details obscured.
- With weapons screenshots, recommended background colors are a desert sand color, or metallic/stone grey, or a nice grassy green. Must be on the ground, not a Forge spawning point, it will have a "St. Elmo's fire"-type blue light teardrop!
- For character screenshots, the background can be any light color, as long as the lighting is just right! Also, make sure character is seen at an angle, like this example image provided here.
- For vehicle screenshots, specifications are the same as all the above, if it is remotely possible at all. Please do the same as you would with characters. If you're not sure, try looking at this example image provided here.
Hope this helps, and thanks for helping to improve the wiki!
These, I think, are all the most important screenshots I want to see uploaded to Halopedia and/or elsewhere, where I can go save them to edit later when I have the time to work on them. So hopefully this is relatively helpful, and to further ease any screenshot-taking guy's concerns, I will try to update this little list every time I remember something. Thanks, to all Halopedians! --Xamikaze330
Okay. But with the Spartan Laser, you said you couldn't find any with the correct lighting. Mind telling me what lighting you're looking for, exactly? Vegerot goes RAWR! File:Icon-Vegito2.gif Vegerot (talk) 14:02, 16 October 2011 (EDT)!
Already done downloading. Standing by to await new screenshots. --'Xamikaze330
Something not too dark and not too much light, just about right in between. Something with the same kind of lighting as in the Halo Encyclopedia, or very similar. Do you have the Halo Encyclopedia? I do, but unfortunately I do not have a good enough printer with a big high-quality, dare I say, high-definition scanner to do the job just right, without any of that bothersome blurring that comes from scanning, something I'm still looking around for. A screenshot with something along those lines would be great, perhaps even better than. Does that help a little? (Don't forget to answer the other question too!) --Xamikaze330

Done. Standing by, waiting until tomorrow. FYI, maybe try to get a couple other screenshots of M6 Spartan Laser, but with a better background, like not snowy? More like desert sand color almost, something like that. What is that funny glow-blur, that St. Elmo's Fire-type phenomena thingy? --Xamikaze330
? Where? Vegerot goes RAWR! File:Icon-Vegito2.gif Vegerot (talk) 01:01, 17 October 2011 (EDT)!
How are you taking these screenshots? In Campaign or in Multiplayer? Whichever way make sure it's something like on the sands of Sandtrap, or maybe somewhere sandy and sunny in Voi, Kenya, or on the Ark maybe, or something. Surely this cannot be too much to understand (no offense), right? But if you are unable to, then these will have to do, just need to change a few things in Photoshop, hopefully with little or no problems. --Xamikaze330
No, I understand that. I was asking about "What is that funny glow-blur, that St. Elmo's Fire-type phenomena thingy?"? Vegerot goes RAWR! File:Icon-Vegito2.gif Vegerot (talk) 18:04, 17 October 2011 (EDT)
The, uh, little blob of light near the handle or trigger. That's what I'm talking about. What is it? --Xamikaze330
It's a teardrop. It denotes where objects are placed by the player. Pretty much a complex thing showing where it will respawn. It was stupid so they removed it for Reach. Vegerot goes RAWR! File:Icon-Vegito2.gif Vegerot (talk) 18:14, 17 October 2011 (EDT)
Oh, that's good. Still, if it's not too much trouble, please take some more screenshots of the M6 Spartan Laser with a sandy-type background, or maybe some green grass, with lots of sunlight, and hopefully that "teardrop" of light will be slightly less noticeable. Do whatever works best. --Xamikaze330
Actually, lol, I finished like 3 hours ago, I just forgot to tell you :p. Vegerot goes RAWR! File:Icon-Vegito2.gif Vegerot (talk) 20:28, 17 October 2011 (EDT)!
Well, the Covenant Carbine scopes screenshots are excellent, but the newer M6 Spartan Laser screenshots from Halo 3 were not quite what I had hoped for, but I made do with the previous ones I already downloaded. So, all in all, thanks a lot! Please keep checking back with me on the above list! Btw, did you get the screenshots of the Type-31 Needle Rifle's scope and the M6 Spartan Laser from Halo: Reach yet? --Xamikaze330
No, and why is the current one not sufficient, respectfully. P.S. For all the ones that you have completed, you might consider crossing them out from the list above (<s>here</s>). Just a suggestion. Vegerot goes RAWR! File:Icon-Vegito2.gif Vegerot (talk) 21:13, 17 October 2011 (EDT)
A), your probably forgot to put up a new link, or B), If you referring to the current screens of the M6 Spartan Laser, then it is because they are not "perfect" dead-on profile shots. As for the Halo: Reach M6 Spartan Laser, I just don't like that bothersome black shadowy edges around them. Not to worry, though. Everything will be fine, you will see. I'm actually quite pleased with all the screenshots I downloaded, and I think you shall really like the end results. Just a few tweaks, and they are ready to go. Stand by, and prepare to be impressed, or whatever. Oh, FYI, they are on my DeviantART right now, if you want to view them (I make it so it is easier to find on the Internet, rather than just having them isolated to one site). --Xamikaze330
ShaBang! !
Done. Thanks. Check the New Images now. Most of them are there now. --Xamikaze330
What's wrong with this? Also, was there something wrong with the Fusion Coil, Forklift, and Sentinel images, because I can't help but to notice you have not removed them yet. Vegerot goes RAWR! File:Icon-Vegito2.gif Vegerot (talk) 13:41, 19 October 2011 (EDT)
First off, I changed your comment a little bit b/c the image you posted is way too big. And secondly, that image is not something I wish to edit in Photoshop without being accused of copyright infringement (because it belongs to Isaac Hannaford), something people do not seem to understand despite my official statement in my journal, and thus have been forced to take other measures to preserve what little is left of my honor as a Halopedian. So, if it is not too much to ask, could you please get me those screenshots I asked for, please? Besides, this image does not have the kind of color tones I wish to display, in fact, it lacks in color other than black, grey or white. That is another reason why I wish for these screenshots. So, please accept my humble apologies for any inconvenience I may have caused. --Xamikaze330
UPDATE: Just forget everything about DeviantART. I'm making a move to Tumblr, a website that is much more art-friendly than the former. I was really just doing a service, with no thoughts towards profit. It'll still be there, albeit with much less artwork posted. But still, for the sake of Halopedia, I would still like to have those screenshots, when you have the time to take them. Just wanted to let you know. --Xamikaze330
Oh sorry, I've been swamped for the past four days. I'll get on that tonight or tomorrow. Vegerot goes RAWR! File:Icon-Vegito2.gif Vegerot (talk) 19:53, 22 October 2011 (EDT)!
For your Plasma Launcher: http://halo.xbox.com/en-us/intel/featured/gallery/plasma-launcher/837af1ac-e46b-459e-aeaa-2ad463e0a21d Or does that conflict with your legal stuff too? Vegerot goes RAWR! File:Icon-Vegito2.gif Vegerot (talk) 23:33, 23 October 2011 (EDT)
Yeah, I've already submitted it to Halopedia, but someone else keeps taking it off, claiming that it "looks exactly like the one(s) already on the page". As for the legal stuff, I'm going to try to find a way to contact both Bungie and 343i about what I've been doing on DeviantART, promoting and community interest in Halo (as well as effectively advertising for Halo), with absolutely no thoughts towards profit, only doing a service, as I've constantly insisted that I was. But that's only if I can find a way to successfully contact them, preferably by email. Otherwise, I may just have to stick to PhotoBucket--I'm just trying to make it easier for people who love great digital art such as myself to be able to find what they are looking for. Halopedia is of course the primary website for all things Halo, just sometimes what one is looking for does not pop up on a Google search, like getting Google hits, if you know what I mean. Let me know as soon as you have those three or four images ready for me to edit in Photoshop, so I can submit them to Halopedia. --Xamikaze330
Hey Vegerot, when are you going to deliver on those screenshots? You said you'd get on it "tonight or tomorrow". You haven't done it yet. What's going on? --Xamikaze330
Sorry, I've been REALLY swamped with homework lately. In fact, this is the last time I've gotten on Halopedia for a while, so yeah, sorry. Vegerot goes RAWR! File:Icon-Vegito2.gif Vegerot (talk) 15:41, 25 October 2011 (EDT)
Oh, okay. Well, please make sure you do it as soon as you have the chance. I'll try to be patient, but I don't know how much longer I can hold out. I haven't done much editing in awhile, partly because I don't have much to contribute right now. So please don't take too long. --Xamikaze330
Halo: Combat Evolved PC/Mac Screenshots
OK. And for all your CE pics, please tell me you have Halo Demo/Trial? Vegerot goes RAWR! File:Icon-Vegito2.gif Vegerot (talk) 19:25, 25 October 2011 (EDT)!
Actually, I do not have the Halo CE Demo/Trial. I actually have Halo: Combat Evolved on CD for MacBook Pro. But I have no idea how to take screenshots while in-game, though I have tried everything. Besides, graphics aren't that great compared to other Halo games anyway. Why do you ask? --Xamikaze330

Interesting. This may actually help, when I do feel the need to take a screenshot, but only if my computer will let me. Sometimes it won't let me with certain applications, but who knows? Regardless, it doesn't really matter. I stand by what I said earlier. Hey, do you think you could make this weekend work for the screenshots? If you can, that would really be great. I do have some things to contribute right now, when I feel like taking some time to work on Halopedia. A little more to contribute would be nice too. Think you can do it? --Xamikaze330

Well, 1st thing's first. Before you do ANY modding, you MUST have this (Fonzie's map pack) installed on you computer. Now, once you get this (you'll probably want to mess around with Eschaton before doing anything, just to get acquainted with it), there are actually multiple ways to null out the Heads-Up-Display. Just feast your eyes over here and look at some of them. If you have any questions, problems, or just want to have more information (even questions like "WHY does this null out the Heads-Up-Display), just post it right there. And for the future, if you have any questions that have nothing to do with nulling out the Heads-Up-Display, just post them here. And if you have any problems that has to do with just Macintoshes in general, and nothing to do even Halo, find the appropriate place to put it here. Vegerot goes RAWR! - Or you could just download the Halo Screen Options and use it alongside HCE. Check out my HCE guide to know more of the easier tools to use.— subtank 08:18, 9 December 2011 (EST)
Or you could just do it my way because it will help you more in the future, and it's really easy. Vegerot goes RAWR! File:Icon-Vegito2.gif Vegerot (talk) 08:32, 9 December 2011 (EST)!
To Subtank: the ZIP file downloads you suggested work only for Windows, not Mac OS X. If you could somehow provide some other links to software that can be used with the Mac version of HCE, that would be great. To Vegerot: I'm afraid your way doesn't work for me, and I'm not sure why. To say things as simple as possible without giving away too much information, my copy of HCE is not an "official" licensed copy. So chances are some game features were "lost". --Xamikaze330 11:21, 9 December 2011 (EST)Xamikaze330
I too, have gotten my version at a "discounted" price, but it works for me. What happens when you try to open up Eschaton? How about this, do you have iChat? If so, then I will help you. Vegerot goes RAWR! File:Icon-Vegito2.gif Vegerot (talk) 12:08, 9 December 2011 (EST)
Actually, I got mine for free, from my uncle, who got it from a friend of his. But to answer your first question, I can't really answer because I don't know what Eschaton is other than the end of the present world as we know it, but I can answer your second question. I do have iChat, I just never got around to getting it set up, because I thought I wouldn't need it. I'm not much of a txt msgr, but I do indulge only when absolutely necessary. --Xamikaze330 13:37, 9 December 2011 (EST)Xamikaze330
- Never mind. I'm having way too much trouble with inputting my password on iChat, it's just so fucked up, it won't accept it, not to mention these stupid constant Road Runner message pages I keep getting when trying to fix the damned problem... But on the other hand, do you think you could get AIM? --Xamikaze330 14:00, 9 December 2011 (EST)Xamikaze330
Yes. What's your AIM (don't worry, I don't think there is anybody on here that would spam your e-mail)? Vegerot goes RAWR! File:Icon-Vegito2.gif Vegerot (talk) 18:02, 10 December 2011 (EST)
Uh, I think it's Xamikaze330@aim.com. I'm not entirely sure, but I think that's what it is. If not, use my real name instead. Evan Olsen. It should be there. --Xamikaze330 20:13, 10 December 2011 (EST)Xamikaze330
OK, I sent you a message, I'm not sure why you're not responding. Vegerot goes RAWR! File:Icon-Vegito2.gif Vegerot (talk) 20:31, 10 December 2011 (EST)!
Sorry. I signed off for a bit, because I saw you signed off. --Xamikaze330 21:16, 10 December 2011 (EST)Xamikaze330
Okay, we need to have a set time so I can show you. Because this isn't something we can do in three minuets, it's gonna take some time. But I was bored yesterday so I'll let you test my alpha version of the mod. [ http://www.mediafire.com/?tx3o48f00erklzk] 16:59, 12 December 2011 (EST)
First off, make absolutely certain your username is in there somewhere in your "signature". And secondly, while I was to successfully download the mod, I do not have the right application to view it, much less use it. Have any suggestions or ideas? --Xamikaze330 18:19, 12 December 2011 (EST)Xamikaze330
Hmm, that's odd that my name didn't show up, maybe I put one too many ~ in there. Also, are you available right now to do something? And third of all, if you aren't then what you do is go to package contents (in Halo)>(something)>Game Data>maps>then MOVE B30.MAP TO A NEW FOLDER, then put the b30 I just gave you into that spot. I know that's confusing, which is why I'll show u over iChat. Vegerot goes RAWR! File:Icon-Vegito2.gif Vegerot (talk) 20:38, 12 December 2011 (EST)
I'll do it all in the morning. My curfew's coming up, and I don't want to get caught staying up. My mother's very particular about what time I get up. --Xamikaze330 23:31, 12 December 2011 (EST)Xamikaze330
Hey, I'd like to follow up on our meeting a couple weeks ago. Please log onto iChat whenever possible, please. Vegerot goes RAWR! File:Icon-Vegito2.gif Vegerot (talk) 20:36, 25 December 2011 (EST)!
Images and anti-aliasing
First off, you've done a fine job with most of your image cutouts so far, but looking over some of your reuploads, I have to ask - how exactly is making the edges more pixelated supposed to improve the image quality? To illustrate an example, before and after. All the difference I can see is that your version lacks the anti-aliasing of the original, making the edges more jagged. In the following image: before and after, even the colors in the new one seem lower quality when closely inspected. The color quality downgrade and the edge pixelation can also be seen in these: before and after. So what's the deal with that? To me, anti-aliased edges look much cleaner than the "sharpened" ones. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 16:31, 31 October 2011 (EDT)
I've wondered what all that "pixelating" thing was called. Now that I do, perhaps I can rectify that, with a little time and work. But to answer your question, especially with the H2V Elite Major and Minor, I just didn't like all the unnecessary blurriness around the edges, so I tried to change that by indexing it, and by default, the colors become anti-aliased. But maybe I can fix that now. Just need to do some research, though. This can be fixed. Oh, about my other renders I did myself, I used Refine Edge, with contrast set to 100%. So, sorry about any inconvenience I caused, I was just trying to help improve the quality of the images. What I did seemed to make them look a little better. Anti-aliasing isn't all that bad, I mean, they are plenty of indexed color images already on Halopedia that I did not already change to indexed color. I will try to fix this, without the anti-aliasing, if you like. And even if you don't, it may still come in handy in the future. --Xamikaze330
- I, too, share Jugus' concerns. I was wondering why you removed the added anti-aliasing in several images; images look better with anti-alias rather than without. With regards with the Elite Major image, it appears you've added some noise onto the colour... is that due to the indexing? — subtank 20:19, 31 October 2011 (EDT)
- Uh, yeah. That little part of indexed color is kinda hard to control. There is no checkbox for aliasing and/or anti-aliasing, and I kinda wish there was, or at least something like it. All I wanted to do was remove that blurriness. I have to admit, I do have perfectionist tendencies, although I do not consider myself a perfectionist, just a guy with perfectionist tendencies. Furthermore, I kinda like it a little bit better when it is aliased, because it makes the edges more sharply defined. Some people don't like that, and some others do like it. If you like I can re-apply the blurring to the images, albeit with a reduced blur. --Xamikaze330
- When cropping image edges with Photoshop's cutting tools (such as the polygonal lasso, which I tend to use since it makes it rather easy) it anti-aliases the edges by default. I think it's for a good reason, since it makes the edges more smooth and thus more natural. See the Wikipedia article for a more detailed explanation on why it's a good thing. Also, there is some actual blurriness to be seen in the original Elite Major image, but the others didn't really even need any improvement. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 05:53, 1 November 2011 (EDT)
Very true. I actually use the Quick Selection tool, but I never really tried to use polygonal Lasso tool. Most of the images I've done have their edges "sharpened" by default when I set the Refine Edge contrast to 100%, without it being anti-aliased.It's a technique I'm still working on refining every time I do it. --Xamikaze330
UPDATE: I just tried the polygonal Lasso tool, and I must say I am very impressed with the results. Of course, by default, the checkbox for anti-aliasing was selected, but I was able to override it by (again) using Refine Edge, with Contrast set to 100%. Results still reasonably impressive. No aliasing or indexed coloring. Almost perfectly smooth, yet edges sharply defined, no blurriness. Beautiful. Thanks for the tip! --Xamikaze330
Inclusion of "transparent" in filename
Just wondering if you could avoid adding such as the above in future images/filenames. I personally think it's unnecessary and the best of practise to keep it as short as possible. :) — subtank 15:52, 3 November 2011 (EDT)
- Duly noted. I only add the word "transparent" to keep them separate from my "whitebg" images. I will try to find an alternate method, or else will have to figure something else out while keeping my original system of categorization and separation. --Xamikaze330 16:22, 3 November 2011 (EDT)Xamikaze330
- I suggest separate folders for whitebg and transparent images. Easier. :P — subtank 16:24, 3 November 2011 (EDT)
- I will consider it, though I don't like separating image files with the same subject and filename, with their only difference having changed backgrounds. Hence the addition of the words "whitebg" and "transparent". --Xamikaze330 16:34, 3 November 2011 (EDT)Xamikaze330
Well, that didn't work according to plan...
So, I am unable to edit your sub-pages myself since it is limited to you and the Administrators. Here's what you should do on your part:
- I've created nine dead links that would redirect you to your sub-pages. Since I don't have access to those sub-pages (even when they are red-links), you would need to click them and paste the relevant images to your own liking.
- Click here to access the images data. Just copy them and then paste in the sub-pages.
- Click save and you've finally create a sub-page. Repeat this step as much as you want.
— subtank 15:43, 7 December 2011 (EST)
Thanks for the help, for whatever that's worth. Thank you immensely. Now I know how to go about this subpage business. I changed some of the original dead red links, primarily because I think my image categorization system needed changing and reorganization. Hopefully now this will put a stop to any and all the problems related to my userpage. --Xamikaze330 13:38, 8 December 2011 (EST)Xamikaze330
Assignment for you
There's been talks of introducing a new main image for Cortana, so I have an assisting request for you. Could you get a higher resolution version of this image of Cortana from the Firefight voices menu? After that, blank out the background and apply any other touches it might need. Then we'll test it and see it works as a new profile image. Tuckerscreator(stalk) 14:11, 8 March 2012 (EST)
- I appreciate the fact that you think I'm the man for this kind of work, and I would certainly do it, except for one problem. I do not currently own an Xbox 360 nor do I own Halo: Reach or any other Halo games. If I may be so bold, Fairfieldfencer would be a better candidate for getting a better screenshot, and then I can do the rest, or at least part of it. I'm still brushing up on my Photoshop techniques, but I'll do my best. But I cannot make any promises though as to the quality or how it turns out. --Xamikaze330 14:51, 8 March 2012 (EST)Xamikaze330
- I get my screenshots through Theater Mode. Those pics aren't covered. If I may be so bold, see if Pan Cam works in the level The Package and take a pic of Cortana at the end of the level. Probably won't work, though and Cortana hasn't been seen in a game level since Halo 2, so no screenshots from regular Theater Mode will be available.Fairfieldfencer FFF 17:15, 8 March 2012 (EST)
- A quick search of Bungie.net gave me these shots [5] [6] (there is way too much Forge porn if you look up Cortana).Fairfieldfencer FFF 17:22, 8 March 2012 (EST)
- The first one has Cortana too far away. The second is alright but doesn't do anything the current pic doesn't. I'll try asking more generally on the Talk:Cortana page. Tuckerscreator(stalk) 17:40, 8 March 2012 (EST)

Hope you can join us!--Spartacus Talk • Contribs 22:12, 23 October 2012 (EDT)
I would absolutely love to, but the only problem is that I still do not have an Xbox 360 of my own, nor do I have an Xbox LIVE account either. It won't really matter if I own the Halo 4 game if I don't have a gaming console to play it on. Sorry. :-( --Xamikaze330 (talk|contribs) 22:15, 23 October 2012 (EDT)Xamikaze330
- I'm still working out hard to lose the last 30 lbs. in order to reach 160 lbs in order to get the Xbox 360 my parents promised to buy me. It would be nice for me to simply buy it using my debit card (but not recommended due to my limited salary (but I could save up, which would take longer)), or on my credit card and work it off, but my parents would be angry with me if I did either. But in any case, I expect it to take awhile before I get it. Dammit all, why must it take so damn long? :-( --Xamikaze330 (talk|contribs) 22:21, 23 October 2012 (EDT)Xamikaze330
- Just work hard to meet your goal and you will know it was worth it.--Spartacus Talk • Contribs 22:26, 23 October 2012 (EDT)
- Oh, I know it will be well worth it. But it is kinda hard to balance dieting and exercising. It's difficult to do. Anyway, I might as well add, I never have been particularly great at playing multiplayer matches. Firefight and Campaign are one thing, multiplayer matches are another. I get killed, blown up, incinerated, and generally got my butt kicked. But I am practicing by using Counter-Strike: Source. Having a game guide also helps too. --Xamikaze330 (talk|contribs) 22:32, 23 October 2012 (EDT)Xamikaze330
