Talk:Halo Theme
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
Isnt this artcle the same as the article Mjolnir Mix? If so, it should be deleted. "Holy crap, AlaskanSoccer just owned me!!!" is what you should now say. 01:07, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
- There are a lot of similarities, yes, but that's only because the Mjolnir article is wrong. Mjolnir mix refers only to the Steve Vai version, which I thought was obvious from the article. Technically, the music in discussion here is just called Halo (at least, in it's original form on the Halo Soundtrack). The Halo 2 soundtrack calls it the Halo Theme, however, so that is the name I went for. So in fact, the information on the Halo Theme on the Mjolnir Mix article should be moved across to here, and the remaining information on Steve Vai's version should either be left as a separate article, or merged with this one. So no, this article should not be deleted. The 95 Headhunter (radio) (mission log) 10:24, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
Should we mention the Halo 3 version.[edit]
There is a theme for each game
Opening Suite[edit]
For some reason, the "Opening Suite" for the Halo: Original Soundtrack is linked to here. Yes, it features the chanting monks thing, but does not have the main theme with the drums and the strings. Suggestion is to make a separate page for the Halo: Original Soundtrack "Opening Suite."
Use in Halo 3[edit]
The original Halo theme, as far as I can tell, does not appear in this game (Halo 3) as mentioned, Tsavo Highway- that is actually Out of Shadow/Into Light, The Covenant- That is actually (if memory serve me right) One Final Effort, Halo- That is actually Halo Finale... plz fix... b/c while these songs my be either remix/remade versions or show parts or references to the Halo Theme, they are, not the Halo Theme...

PS- it may play on the High Ground Radio or other such radios in Halo 3, but I do not remember hearing it... so other than 343 GS humming w/ IWHBYD on, this may be another occurance in Halo 3 besides the remakes and such to the Halo Theme...
- It actually does appear in Halo 3. It doesn't appear as it's own track but does appear in several remade forms. And also, the main menu of Halo 3 has the chant. General Heed 01:58, October 7, 2009 (UTC)
Halo Theme track in Halo 4 OST?[edit]
Hey, I just recently bought the Halo 4 Original Soundtrack online in iTunes for 8.99, and I have been listening to it for a while now. But for some odd reason, I can't seem to isolate the track on the "disc" in my iTunes library of the Halo 4 iteration of the Halo Theme. Could somebody help out here and point out the right track? Or is it on the collector's edition soundtrack? --Xamikaze330 (talk|contribs) 12:00, 10 November 2012 (EST)Xamikaze330
The track on Spotify[edit]
Should it be added that the Halo theme track on Spotify has glitches in it? I also think that there are some other tracks that has glitches in them on the Halo: Original Soundtrack on Spotify. Mangetornet (talk) 10:35, 8 August 2017 (EDT)
