Template:Character Infobox Soma, also known as Soma the Painter, was a Forerunner civilian who resided on Seaward around 100,300 BCE. She was one of the first to witness the landfall of the Flood on the planet.[1]
Biography
Soma was an inhabitant of Wharftown, a small settlement on the planet Seaward. She had moved to the planet out of a desire to live away from her people's high-tech society, and eschewed the use of body armor and life-support in favor of a naturalistic lifestyle. She enjoyed painting with a jetbrush.
In approximately 100,300 BCE, at age 417, Soma witnessed the landing of the first known Flood invasion since the Human-Flood war while painting the setting of Seaward's two suns. Her jetbrush, along with two other devices in the settlement, was used to provide information about the sighting to the Auditor and Prelate.[1]
