Please request rollback rights here. This page is watched to ensure the quickest response possible. Remember that, to have rollback rights, the user must have at least 1,000 total edits on the account they are requesting rollback rights for.

Query: Manticore

This very page stipulates that a user must have 1000 edits to be granted rollback, but neither Anaba 'Eesoree or H*bad have this many edits. Whats going on? The reason GPT gave for giving H*bad rollback was sexeh! -- Manticore Fleet Admiral.jpg Talk | CSV 12:41, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

That is a very good question, I would like to know why as well. --ED(talk)(gaming) 21:33, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
H*Bad has enough edits. I have no idea about Anaba 'Eesoree. --NOTASTAFF GPT(talk)(eating) 21:43, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
See Special:Editcount/H*bad and Special:Editcount/Anaba 'Eesoree. Neither have enough edits, and H*bad has less than Anaba 'Eesoree. -- Manticore Fleet Admiral.jpg Talk | CSV 01:04, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
Update: Both users have lost rollback rights, as neither have the required total edits. -- Manticore Manticore is a Halopedia administrator. Talk | CSV 12:21, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Request: Guitarplayer001

I, Guitarplayer001, request rollback rights because I have already helped fight vandalism a little bit, and would like to help fight vandalism more, and I started the Former MoH (now GoH).

Request: HaloDude

I'm requesting Rollback rights, having recently passed the 2000 total edit mark. An obvious reason why i would like Rollback rights is to help revert vandalism and/or uneccesary edits. I'm responsible, and i'm also a councilor in the CoH. Anyway, i'll let you decide. What did HaloDude Do!?! 13:50, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

I think the Admins would want way more Mainspace edits than 150. But I don't know, i'm just recommending it.File:UNSCoH Dingo without letters.PNGColonel TonyTalk 8/11/2007
This decision however, is not your choosing, Tony --Captain 077, ready for duty(Frequencies are clear, go ahead sir)( Ops completed)File:MA5C Firing.gif 00:09, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
Agreed, you are low on mainspace edits. However, as there is not a specific number of mainspace edits required, I'm going to set it at 150, and geant them to you. --DEMONSPAWNED 03:16, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

Firstly, 150 edits is not enough--I'll ask ED to change the policy to something moar reasonable. Secondly, the plus sign next to edit is there for a reason. When you use that, it properly formats new sections, since you are apparently incapable of doing so yourself--a blank line goes between the == Blahblahblah == and the rest of the message. --NOTASTAFF GPT(talk)(eating) 03:16, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

Gah, didn't see ED's comment. Personally, I think that 250 is a MUCHO bettaro numbar... --NOTASTAFF GPT(talk)(eating) 03:17, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
OK, we can change that, but its not really fair to enforce the rules ex post facto, so they'll have to apply from now on, I guess. --DEMONSPAWNED 03:21, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

Request: Mouse among men

I just passed the 1000 edits mark, with about 38% mainspace, have a high position in most usergroups, and created the PoH. Here are a few examples of me reverting vandalism. Here's my edit count and contributions. I'm sure most active ones here have heard of me, so I'm not just "that guy who made that thing." Hope this gets through! Until next time, respect them Grunts. Yeah, i passed 1000 main space edits and now i wanna crush vandal and newb edits more effeciently, which roll back is going to be a great help. This probably isn't my place to say, but rollback rights would greatly benefit Ajax and his already impressive work. I don't see anyone work to clean poor editing as much as him. What did HaloDude Do!?! 17:29, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

Request: Spartan G-23

I hit the 1,000 mark a while back and I want rollback so I (Like CF001) can protect my most often visited and favourite site of all time and help others to keep it safe which I have been doing ever since my first vandal encounter in March 6th, 2007 which was about a week after I joined. Since then I have fought many vandals on Halopedia (and halo-fanon) and I wish to have rollback to help keep Halopedia safe.--First Sergeant G-23 Comm Channel Mission HistoryFile:Marine Corp 1stSgt.jpgB Company 03:28, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

Request: Sgt.johnson

I hit the 1,000 mark about a week ago. In vandal fighting, I have experienced problems reverting the edits before the final edit made by that user/IP. Usually, vandals make 2 edits to pages making it hard for me or other users to fully revert thier edits. And so, that is why I am requesting rollback rights. I have been fighting vandals for a while because I just hate it when people think they can mess up what others have been working so hard on. The Sarge File:Marine Corp SSGT.JPGComm CSV 02:10, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

Firstly, the history of a page can be used to revert edits by multiple editors. I could revert this page to it's first revision rather easily, without the use of rollback or sysop tools.
Secondly, I'm a little concerned with your use of ordinary undo, including this reversion in violation of policy. This page blanking after a content dispute also worries me.
After taking that into consideration, and your editcount, I think this request should be denied for now. Come back when you have some more mainspace edits, and have demonstrated you know how to appropriately use normal editing tools. -- Manticore Manticore is a Halopedia administrator. The page blanking was when I first arrived to the site... I do remember that, and i understand why I was turned down. I shall take your constructive critisism to heart.

Request 2

Even though it has been a very few number of days since my first application, I feel that I am ready for the privilege of rollback. I have properly learned how to use editing tools since then and I have long since settled my issues that were referenced in the previous application. I have increased my edit count and I have significantly fought vandalism. Therefore, I request rollback rights for the second time.

"I have properly learned how to use editing tools". No you haven't. Case in point: [1]. Instead of using the history to revert, you've used undo. What are you doing changing his userpage anyway? If he wants to blank it, that's his right. -- Manticore Manticore is a Halopedia administrator. Talk | Contributions 07:04, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
He asked me to change his userpage back. And yes, for Simon's request, he always used the "undo" button. You granted it to him. And so, I see your arguement is flawed. -- AJFile:ArmyJROTC.jpg 15:30, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

You should only use undo for reverting one revision that recent, otherwise use the history. I don't have the time to review every single edit either of you have made, but Simon doesn't have a history of going against policy or blanking articles like you do. Request denied. -- Manticore Manticore is a Halopedia administrator. Talk | Contributions 15:38, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

  1. Only two incidents on my record. The first one was when I was a n00b. The second was because the kid was slightly suicidal.
  2. I have learned how to properly edit as of November 16th, 2007

Request 3

I have learned how to properly use the edit tools - My Sandbox (check the history), I have greatly increased my edit count, and all issues pertaining to page blanking have been resolved. In addition, I am an admin at the Ace Combat wiki and as for edit quality, I am a First Sergeant (Gunnery Sergeant Grade 4) in the UoH. Please consider my request. Thank you. -- AJFile:ArmyJROTC.jpg 02:31, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

Usergroup ranks are irrelevant, and it has been less than a week since you last applied. You seem to end each unsuccessful application with "I don't need rollback", something you later strike out before applying again. Perhaps now that you have learnt how to revert using the history you can put that into practice a bit before applying again. -- Manticore Manticore is a Halopedia administrator. I havent been at Halopedia that long (I joined in late August) but I feel I deserve rollback rights because I have fought vandalism in the past and have had to use the puny (undo) button. I made lots of decent contributions to Halopedia, and have been very active in the UoH - I am currently a General, the highest rank. This is my 1001st edit (I'm that keen ;D ) - but almost half of my edits are mainspace. I browse Halopedia frequently and go on IRC whenever I can, so users can contact me.
