Honor Guard Councilor
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
Template:Covenant Character Infobox
Honor Guard Councillor is a Covenant Sangheili (Elite) rank.
Rank
Ones of such rank are gifted and talented warriors. They are conjecturalized to be greater than Honor Guard Ultra Elites but lesser than the revered Arbiters. However, they hold the same amount of influence as any other Councillor, very powerful elites.
Combat
The Honor Guard Councillor, in fitting with its high rank, is extraordinarily powerful, and requires at least two Fuel Rod Cannon direct hits to kill or multiple Energy Sword slashes to down.
While they're seen is wielding an Energy Sword, it is presumed that they also have cross-weapons trainings and can use other weapons in combat.
Appearances
Physical
They wear standard Councillor armor underneath - opulent white and extremely resilent, but also have traditional Honor Guard Elite orange appendages to their body armor.
Halo 2
The Honor Guard Councillor appears only once in the Halo universe: at the end of the level Gravemind, at the fore of the bridge between the Mausoleum of the Arbiter and the Far Tower. It only appears on the harder difficulties, Heroic and Legendary. The Honor Guard Councillor is flanked by two Stealth Elites wielding Plasma Rifle, but is armed with an Energy Sword himself. This only occured after SPARTAN-117 destroyed the Ultra Elites, Hunters, and Brutes fighting in the Mausoleum and moved to intercept the High Prophet of Truth.
Trivia
- The Honor Guard Councillor was not intended to be in the finalized game, and existed only as a test, like the Needler Sentinel. However, it slipped through the cracks and into the ending of Gravemind.
