Template talk:Sangheili Ranks
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
Ossoona and Arbiter are temporary positions. Should they be counted as ranks? They aren't always available and aren't permanent. -- Couchpotato99 (talk) (contribs) 09:09, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
Well i just thought it might be helpful to put them there so people can find them fast or so they understand fully how the poistions of power are and its said on both page there only temporary or something like that but i'll make sure it says on there pages that there not regular ranks.--ryanngreenday 09:33, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, sounds fine. -- Couchpotato99 (talk) (contribs) 20:10, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
Higher Ranks
The higher ranks seem to start at the highest rank, Councillor, and then go down shouldn't it be the other way around? -- Esemono 02:41, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
Suggested overhaul
This template looks confusing and weighted to the right. I suggest an overhaul to give each rank tree its own setion...like this:
Elite Ranks | |||
Regular | Minor Elite • Major Elite • Ultra Elite • Zealot • Imperial Admiral • Councilor | ||
---|---|---|---|
Special Operations | Stealth Elite • Ranger Elite • Special Operations Elite | ||
Honor Guard | Honor Guard Elite • Honor Guard Ultra | ||
Temporary | Ossoona • Arbiter |
What do you all think? -ED 20:42, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
- To be honest, the template needs improvement badly. I'll change it to this, and, of course it can be reverted if anyone objects. -ED 22:35, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
Heretic Elites
Heretics were a faction of their own, they were never a part of the Covenant military. AS such, "heretic elite" is not a rank in the Covenant military, and does not belong on this template. -ED 06:49, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Councilor
Shouldn't the Councilor go in it's own section, not just regular. Something like political, or High Council? --User:Donut THX 1138 File:Donut 7.JPG 16:45, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
I also added the Oracle Master to the Council section - i worked hard on that! Kora 'Morhekee 04:32, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
- Oracle Master is a title for civilian Elites, not military ones. --ED(talk)(shockfront) 05:57, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
