This is a list of milestones the Halopedia has achieved.

2004

  • Around October 28: Wiki is thought up.[1]
  • November 4: Halo Wiki formed.

2005

  • June 15: Halo Wikia was created.[2]
  • August 11: Wiki renamed to Halopedia.[3]
  • November 4: 510 articles [4]

2006

  • May 29: 917 main-space articles have been made.[5]
  • July 24: Halopedia merges into Halo.Wikia, and the process takes a few months.[6]
  • November 7: 1,764 main-space articles have been made.[7]
  • December 30, Halopedia's first attempt at news, the "Oracle Newsletter", is started.

2007

  • January 2: 2,041 main-space articles have been made.[8]
  • September 02: 3,008 main-space articles have been made.[9]
  • December 23: 4,021 main-space articles have been made.[10]

2008

  • August 12: 5,000 main-space articles have been made.
  • September 30: The Oracle Newsletter is cancelled.

2009

  • March 31: Halopedias second attempt at News, "Halopedia News", starts.
  • August 22: The Halopedia Facebook is created.[11]
  • November 4: Halopedia is 5 years old.
  • December 29: 6,040 main-space articles have been made.[12]

2010

  • October 17: Halopedia leaves Wikia to www.Halopedian.com, and the Wikia leftover is renamed Halo Nation.[13]

2011

  • February 17: 7,211 main-space articles have been made.[14]

2012

  • July 22: Halopedia moves back to the Halopedia.org domain.[15]
  • October 24: 8,078 main-space articles have been made.[16]

2014

  • July: A mobile theme was added.
  • November 4: Halopedia is 10 years old.
  • December 19: 9,042 main-space articles have been made.[17]

2015

  • September 27: Halopedia reaches the 10,000 article mark.

2016

  • October 16: 11,126 main-space articles have been made.[18]
  • December 22: The Halopedia Discord server is made.[19]

2017

  • August 11: Halopedia makes a new Twitter.[20]
  • September 15: Halopedia adds a ongoing in-development Dark theme using the wiki's Vector skin.

2018

  • May 13: 12,035 main-space articles have been made.[21]

2019

  • February 4: Halo Nation merges into Halopedia, and the wiki left over was renamed "Halo Alpha".
  • May 29: Halopedia held its first book club.
  • August 19: Halopedia adds its Nimbus night theme.
  • November 4: Halopedia turns 15 years old. It opens its Web-archive, and adds the Onyx skin.
