Fractures
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
A Fracture, also known as Fractures, is a piece of Halo fiction considered part of a different "branch" of Halo lore to the normal Halo universe.[1]
Branches
Tenrai
- Main article: Tenrai (Fracture)
The Tenrai Fracture is an alternate timeline where the Japanese shogunate united humanity under their banner, rather than the United Nations. When the shogunate encountered the Covenant, they initially had no adequate defenses and were on the verge of defeat. During a pivotal battle, a "strange samurai", implied to be Jorge-052, emerged from an anomaly and turned the tide of the war. The shogunate reverse-engineered this hero's armor, creating the Yoroi armor core for their samurai warriors. With the help of its old enemy, the Imperial Court, the shogunate went on to attain victory over the Covenant, whose surviving forces were reduced to marauding raiders.[citation needed]
