Support — Per Subtank.-- KEEP IT CLEAN Comm Line Transmissions 22:04, 27 May 2012 (EDT)Support — Well I guess I can indulge in some ego stroking at least once in awhile. :) Though my only concern about a pre-release Featured Article status are the dips in quality that comes when the game launches. Typically, it takes a month or two before a game page mellows out after its released and I fear that such award, while entirely deserving at the moment, may not be up to our expectations come this fall. - Support — Very well written\documented article with substantial information & sources. --Killamint Comm 15:14, 12 July 2012 (EDT)
- Oppose — Are you kidding me? This page is too unstable. You can't make a "current event" a features article. Because what's going to happen is too unpredictable. (or so it says in the sacred caves) Vegerot! 00:35, 17 August 2012 (EDT)!
- Oppose - Too soon. File:UNSC MIC.jpgCaptain MIC 14:51, 22 August 2012 (EDT)
- Oppose - Let's wait until after the game is released.--Spartacus (Talk | Contribs) 14:59, 22 August 2012 (EDT)
- Oppose — Right now its still a great article with minimal flaws to it, but there's still plenty of content that could be added to it and we should probably wait until December to mold it into an article worthy of Featured status. Grizzlei ♥ ツ
- Oppose - Vote against on grounds that a featured article should be one that has been extensively fact-checked and has all, or nearly all, of the information available on the subject. —This unsigned comment was made by Bruce2401 (talk • contribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Considering E3 2012 starts next week and its been confirmed that plenty of information about Campaign, War Games, and Spartan Ops will be released, I suggest that we hold off any vote until the page is normalized and the editing consistency calms down after new information editing and rewrites. Grizzlei ♥ ツ
- True, and pages about recently released games tend to be bogged down by the story description for a month, sometimes several. Let's see how concisely the plot can be summarized first. Tuckerscreator(stalk) 14:13, 30 May 2012 (EDT)

- Support - As the nominator.--Spartacus Talk • Contribs 22:22, 8 October 2012 (EDT)
- Oppose - The writing is good and the paragraphs through, but the article needs more integrated pictures and the list of Spartan-IIs should have a scroll box added to it. It could also perhaps have these two sections added to it: one about the Spartans' abilites and combat prowess, and another about the perception of them across the UNSC and Covenant. Tuckerscreator(stalk) 00:06, 18 October 2012 (EDT)
Glassing (Won)
Reason: Glassing is one of the aspects where the Halo universe takes a horrifyingly powerful turn. I feel on this article we've managed to fully explain that horror to every detail, as well as reconcile its various discrepancies that have shown up. Tuckerscreator(stalk) 15:04, 17 October 2012 (EDT)

- Subtank cleared out the featured articles a while back, as most of them no longer fit the requirements. This one was among them.--Spartacus Talk • Contribs 22:30, 19 December 2012 (EST)
We should have taken the Featured Article icon off their pages, then. Tuckerscreator(stalk) 22:39, 19 December 2012 (EST)
Well, it isn't closed, and it seems it didn't win then. And if it did, shouldn't it say so? And if it did, why isn't it in the Featured Articles category, under "T"? And if it wasn't won back then, therefore, why not now? Isn't it about time now? --Xamikaze330 (talk|contribs) 00:16, 20 December 2012 (EST)Xamikaze330

- Support - No arguments here. Only that there is still information being added to it on an almost daily basis. But other than that, it gets my vote. --Xamikaze330 (talk|contribs) 14:35, 26 January 2013 (EST)Xamikaze330
- Oppose - Character development in SpartanOps renders it impossible for the nominated article to be considered. It would fail in the immediate category, "Information", where not everything is properly sourced and is open to being altered subject to SpartanOps' episodes. Until the subject's development is stable, I don't think it is suitable. On top of that, the gallery can be shortened by using the Linkbox template and moving the less relevant images into a category (like how we did with other articles). One minor issue is the referencing issue, basically not following the proper format. — subtank 23:35, 28 January 2013 (EST)
- Oppose - Subtank brings up some good points.--Spartacus Talk • Contribs 08:53, 29 January 2013 (EST)

Looks like we have a sizeable opposition here. Guess we should close this nomination? — subtank 08:14, 12 February 2013 (EST)
Composer
Reason: A well-written article with appropriately-named headings, suitable amount of images, and correct references/sources. The gallery contains a balanced variety of concept art pieces and in-game screenshot when the Composer is in its dormant state as well as when it is being used. All information are sourced with certainty with no questions marks in the Sources section. Last but not least, there hasn't been any new info on the Composer in newer media (like Spartan Ops), so information about the Composer is like when the Composer itself is onboard Ivanoff Station: in a stable state. —SPARTAN331 11:18, 12 February 2013 (EST)

Support - No objections.--Spartacus Talk • Contribs 12:34, 12 February 2013 (EST)- Support - Agreed. Unlike with Dr. Halsey, we probably won't have to deal with new information on the Composer any time soon. As it stands, the article is well written and very informative. --Courage never dies. (talk) 12:45, 12 February 2013 (EST)
- Support - No objections from me. --Master of Halo
- Oppose - It's got all the relevant information on the Composer, but the article strikes me as fairly squished otherwise considering it's got only two sections. And as I pointed out below, there's possibly going to be a new addition of information in about a month, and it will likely be a lot, considering much has to be done to reconcile the Composer of Primordium with the weapon of Halo 4. Tuckerscreator(stalk) 13:35, 13 February 2013 (EST)
- Oppose - As per Tucker. It's almost the same situation with Catherine Halsey.--Spartacus Talk • Contribs 13:54, 13 February 2013 (EST)

Won't Silentium be bringing in a lot of information about the Composer? We know it will be involving the events of Halo 4, and have to reconcile them with Primordium. Tuckerscreator(stalk) 14:43, 12 February 2013 (EST)
- There's still about a month until Silentium is released! (wink) —SPARTAN331 00:23, 13 February 2013 (EST)
- Actually, Tuckerscreator is right. It is quite possible that Silentium will have more information about the Composer that will need to collected and processed. Until then, I would suggest we postpone this as a featured article until Silentium's release. Just a suggestion. --Xamikaze330 (talk|contribs) 00:38, 13 February 2013 (EST)Xamikaze330
