Sol Defense Group 3/A-5 is a battle group of the UNSC Navy.[1]
The group was likely engaged in combat with the Covenant during the Battle of Earth, and suffered heavy casualties, leaving only two ships intact. Since its readiness level was critical, the group requested for rearmament from the Misriah Armory factories on Mars.[1]
