Needle Combine Kill

Needle Combine Kill is a medal in Halo: Reach campaign, multiplayer and firefight awarded when a player scores a kill by filling an opponent with enough needles for a supercombine detonation from either a Needler or a Needle Rifle. In Halo 3 it is known as Super Detonation and in Halo 3: ODST it is known as Needler Kill.
Causing a detonation requires seven rounds from a Needler or three rounds on an un-shielded target from the Needle rifle.
Trivia
- Earning five of these medals in a Halo 3 campaign level or ranked free for all playlist unlocks the Fear the Pink Mist achievement.
- Earning ten of these medals in a Halo 3: ODST campaign or firefight level will unlock the Pink and Deadly achievement.
- Earning ten of these medals in a Halo: Reach campaign or firefight level will unlock the A Spoonful of Blamite achievement.
