The Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary announcement trailer is a trailer for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. It was first shown at Microsoft's E3 Media Briefing on June 6th, 2011. It shows the new features and graphics in the remake of Halo: Combat Evolved.

Transcript

The Halo Theme plays. Fades in to a canyon where John-117 and his marines were looking for survivors on Installation 04 in Halo: Combat Evolved graphics.

Cuts to an underground Forerunner light bridge.

  • Narrator: "Ten years ago, Halo game produced millions of fans to an incredible universe..."

Cuts to the snowy canyon near Installation 04's Control Room, where marines from Fire Team Zulu can be seen engaging Covenant troops and vehicles.

  • Narrator: "...and delivered billions hours of entertainment."

Cuts to the camera zooming in towards John-117 in front of another Forerunner light bridge inside a Flood containment facility.

  • Narrator: "That was ten years ago."

A white light flashes, and in the same place, everything changed into Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary graphics.

  • Narrator: "This is now."

The Halo Theme chorus ends, and the quick percussion music begins. The camera zooms out, showcasing the completely new graphics in the containment facility.

Cuts to the beginning cutscene of the Campaign level "The Silent Cartographer", two Pelican dropships, Echo 419 and Bravo 22, approach the island containing the Cartographer.

  • Narrator: "The campaign of the decade..."

Cuts to the campaign level "343 Guilty Spark", the swamp with upgraded graphics.

  • Narrator: "...remade and remastered."

Cuts to the Library from another campaign level, also in upgraded graphics.

Cuts back to "The Silent Cartographer", a M12 Light Reconnaissance Vehicle races around the beach of the island. Cuts to the marines engages the Covenant during their beach assault.

Cuts to a Major Elite patrolling the second floor of the shuttle bay of the CCS-class battlecruiser Truth and Reconciliation. Cuts to the player, as John-117, firing a Plasma rifle at a Minor Elite on the lowest floor of the hangar bay.

Cuts to John-117 engaging Covenant troops in a Jungle. Cuts to a group of Flood Combat forms fighting a Lance of Jackals and Grunts in the Flood containment facility.

Cuts to John-117 firing his Assault Rifle at an Elite onboard the Truth and Reconciliation. Cuts to John-117 firing a Needler at the [[Type-1 Energy Weapon/Sword |Energy Sword]]-wielding Shipmaster Orna 'Fulsamee onboard the Truth and Reconciliation.

Cuts to the camera panning over the Halo: Combat Evolved Multiplayer map Damnation, fading to the remake in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, followed by the remake of Hang 'Em High and Battle Creek.

  • Narrator: "Combined with classic multiplayer maps, enhanced and updated for Xbox LIVE.

Cuts to A blue team player fires his Rocket Launcher at two red team players in Battle Creek. Cuts to Damnation, a player performs an Assassination on another player.

Cuts to the campaign level "The Library, the index chamber, fading to the upgraded version in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary.

FULLY MASTERED CAMPAIGN

  • Narrator: "A fully remaster campaign."

Cuts to several campaign Cooperative Play shots.

CO-OP OVER XBOX LIVE

  • Narrator: "Co-op over Xbox LIVE."

Cuts to a Warthog crossing a bridge on an unknown multiplayer map."

CLASSIC MULTIPLAYER MAPS

  • Narrator: "And seven greatest multiplayer maps off all times."

Cuts to Installation 04 in the Soell system.

  • Cortana (voiceover): "Halo... It's finished."

Cuts to the campaign level "The Truth and Reconciliation", John-117 and Fire Team Charlie levitates up to the cruiser via the Gravity Lift. Close up on John-117.

  • John-117 (voiceover): "No... I think we're just getting started."

John-117 zooms up into the cruiser.

The logo of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is shown.

  • Narrator: "Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary!"

The logo shines, and the date of its release appears:
