Flood stalk

The Flood Stalk is a Flood structure. If it is destroyed, it releases a couple of groups of infection forms. It seems to consist of a few of Flood Growth Pods on a biomass stalk. Flood Stalks, like Flood Eggs are only harmless. Unlike in the case of Flood Eggs, they will not release resources so can be ignored with no loss.
Trivia
- The Rebel Leader skull on the Halo Wars level The Flood requires the player to kill 20 Flood Stalks .[1]
- Flood Stalks release a different type of Flood Egg, this one is instead smaller and does damage to your units when it explodes.
