Alpha Aurigae was a UNSC colonized star system, located 42.2 light-years from Sol. It was invaded on October 21, 2526 by the Covenant. Admiral Cole's fleet responded, defeating the Covenant fleet, but taking heavy casualties in the battle.[1] The fate of the colony, located in the Origami Asteroid Field, whether it was glassed or not, and the state of any survivors, is unknown.
