Being literally one of the greatest and most successful video games franchises ever, Halo's impact was and still is destined to be reflected in popular culture. This article names but a few instsances were Halo is spoofed, mentioned, honered or otherwise the subject of any song, video, etc. (Feel free to add any more places where Halo is mentioned.)


Robot Chicken

Robot Chicken, an "Adult Swim" Cartoon Network show mad a short skit concerning Donkey Kong and Halo.


Story

It begins as a regular game of Donkey Kong, with Mario attempting to climb fseveral floors as he attempts to rescue Peach, while Donkey Kong drops barrels in an attempt to stop him.


However, a few seconds in, several SPARTANs arrive, they quickly scale the levels, neutralize Mario, plant a satchel charge on the floor below Donkey Kong, and rescue Peach. The satchel charge detonates, killing Donkey Kong, one SPARTAN shoots Kong's dead body, then the skit ends.


The Longest Yard

A movie remake starring Adam Sandler, the reference is small.


Several people are playing Halo 2 on the level Outskirts, another person remarks "Man, you got Halo 2? I didn't think it was out yet!" (Note: quote is not exact)
