The Steaktacular Medal is a Halo 3 online multi-player medal. [1].
Background
Requirements
The Steaktacular Medal is earned and achieved by winning a game of Slayer or Team Slayer on Xbox Live with 30 or more kills than the opposing team, meaning the highest score the other team can have at the end of the game in a standard Team Slayer game is 30 for you to receive the medal. In Big Team, the other team could not have more than 80 kills.
History
The description, 'Luke owes you a steak dinner.', comes from a Bungie Hump Day Challenge where a fat cow was bet over a game, in which Luke Smith bet that he could beat another team, led by Frankie, by at least 30 points. Luke won 50-21[2]. It can be very humorous and indescriptive to those who do not know its origin.
Trivia
- Steaktacular appears in the bottom row of your medal chest, next to Linktacular.
- As this is a Bungie.net medal, this medal will only appear in your online medal chest, and not in the Halo 3 post game report.
- Luke probably owes millions of steak dinners to Halo 3 players by now, although he has not given any yet.
